does anybody else wish that he'd keep his mouth shut or at the very least keep it for whatever volume of his series of books is coming next?? Maybe they should make a book out of his misplaced attempts to come out of the crap smelling of roses.....let it go, or is it a case of trying to deflect the fact your new team-mate has already outpaced you twice in preseason testing and your getting worried??? Not the worlds biggest Alonso fan but LH makes me wish Alonso has a stormer of a season and sticks 2 fingers up to RD and LH

think its a good circuit and the facilities are second to none but of course there is the usual negative comments about the lack of track action - well just how many tracks on the calender - new and old - actually have good racing?? very few if any at all. Its the design of the cars that has limited the racing and until that is sorted out it is unlikely we will see truly great racing!!!

yea 20 GPs a year sounds great - as long as Spa, Monza, Silverstone, Monaco and Suzuka are permanent fixtues along with a N.American race, then let Bernie do as he pleases with the other 14 races

there is no chicane there on the actual F1 circuit, that is one of the 4 lay-outs that can be run if they want..also the run-off area for that straight goes under that stand... somebody asked how they were going to recoup their investment - well they aint from F1 anyways. The track and the GP is all about going global with the Abu Dhabi brand. They are using the oil money of today to make the place viable for decades to come. Not that they have to as they have an estimated 75 years of oil still to go.

Auch Well another fruitless season for the Williams team..not inspired for one second over this news. I wish the Audi bosses would take a gamble and get involved in F1 and Williams as the team they do it with - nothing more than wishful thinking though

carcrazed - yea I can see your point if your talking about the new young drivers who have come into F1 throughout this season but Schummi?? he'd have been on the boil from lap 2 and would be pushing that Ferrari to the ragged edge working anything and everything and over the last 10-15 years has there been anybody better at giving feed back to the engineers??? The man even spent time looking at the Michelin tyres before going to the podium to see how they compaired to his bridgestones...

Richard : "Having seen its bid to appear on Top Gear with its GTR720 refused"... Why it was refused is a mystery at the moment, maybe they were too late for the season about to air?? Also the lay-out of the track is easy to get a hold of and the driver has probably watched all the TG episodes so would know the track and even they I doubt it would take long to learn. I'm sure Clarkson and co will already be hatching plans to have the car on as soon as possible after seeing the time.

Monaco is as good as in France let them have that and be done with it. If he is going to press ahead with a French GP then take away one of the races in Spain - either one it doesnt really bother me that much as neither track is fantastic

Well not trusting Ferrari to play by the rules would have been his first thought followed by its MS he has the experience. As for the others you mention, yea they should have been allowed time for purely safety reasons but as with the first thought with Ferrari - would the others have done it all legit or would they have sneaked on a part here and there?? Who knows..I think Williams are in a very vulnerable position at the moment and he just donest want to give anybody an inch for fear they would take a mile.
