Stoner: New engine better.
Great conversation guys
Back to the Desmo....Which all started with Taglioni and their Bialbero. He found that with the Valve float and the minimal valve-to-piston clearance, the engines reliability suffered when a rider missed a gear or high revs were maintained. So he looked at the desmodromics which Mercedes had used on thier W196 GP and 3oo SLR sport racing cars in 54-55. Apart from Mecedes, Taglioni was the only one to make Desmodromics work with reliability and successfully. He created a 125 race bike in a very short time and it raced at the Swedish GP in 56 and was actually one of Ducati's greatest race wins, lapping the entire field.

What did Valentino Rossi mean?
1 agrees.
KneeDragon.....I really dont think it would worry Casey to much if he wasnt No 1, as he has always stated that all he wants to do is race bikes and win. In fact he would relish at the thought that Rossi would get most of the PR work. For me I'd like to see Rossi at Ducati with Casey as it would be a dream team for any Ducatisti who Likes both riders

Stoner: New engine better.
5 agree.
1 disagrees.
The new engine setting, which I am preferring so far, changes the performance of the bike in different ways, for example in corner exit, so we have to modify the set-up in order to get the most out of it,” he explained. Does this mean a smoother and non sliding Stoner
I hope not coz at least if the racing was booring, watching him on the Ducati made it a bit better.....Well at least when he started

'Grid strategy' blamed for Stoner warm-up lap disaster.
1 agrees.
Mr Burgess.....The fact of the matter is Casey never got to say sweet FA so how could he say it was his fault and as most sportsman do when they make a mistake is forget about it dont do it again and get on with life, unlike some people around here who like to live the same day over and fooking over.....BOORING
Here is something from Rossi's book Portrait of a MotoGenius..."Valentino crashed way to many times during his Debut GP season....Sacchi Recalls: many came from Vale just not thinking, the tyres, cold ! give gas crash".......Remember this guy had already been WC twice so he knew about cold tyres, even the best make mistakes

G'Day
I agree with Lucifer on this one, Plus I know the Japanese like to plan a 100 years in advance also as I said on the dark side I had a very good conversation with some one at PI and they said Vale would defenitly finish his time with Ducati
Lucifer... Mrs D and I just couldnt believe Casey did that as we were just getting comfortable to watch Casey finish with a fine win.....Oh well Sh1te happens
Glad it was Dani that finished with the win as his time on top is getting less and less, hope honda get better next year

2 agree.
Pauly..... Thanks for that. So Stoner didnt make any statement, but everyone is ready to jump on him for not saying it was his fault. Told ya the press only say what they want to say, crash could have printed the full story......Gotta laugh at all the comments about Casey not saying it was his fault, when the real fact was he got to say sweet FA.....LOL
