Personally I don't like to see team mates getting too pally - it breeds complacency. It's nice to see a bit of animosity and contempt between them - it gives them even more motivation out on the track and creates more drama excitement for us as spectators. Can't see a racer of Malandris persona being happy with the no 2 status, a bit embarrassing for him, so it will give him extra motivation to get up to speed more quickly.
