Quote of the day: "However there is a long way to go in the championship and I intend to win it".
Does this guy ever learn? He's been lapped in a Mclaren, he fumbled his start, I'm sure that he's lost some friends on the track due to his angry gesticulations towards them, he comes in in 13th place behind Fissicchell in a Forc India car, and still he does not feel humiliated, humbled or subdued in the slightest.
".....I intend to win it". Jesus, he's been humbled and in a fast McLaren to boot, not in one race but in the last two, and yet......

Qualifying times - Bahrain GP.
2 disagree.
That's interesting. If there was really a yellow flag being waved when the first five cars were still doing their flying laps, then they all can be thrown back five places, not just Robert. That would provide a very interesting grid with Nick Heidfeld on pole, but that's only wishful thinking.

Pole star Kubica halts Massa's charge.
5 agree.
2 disagree.
There seems to be one hell of a happy person on this forum. Well done Jan, we all hope that Robert will do very well tomorrow. It will kill the monotony of hearing the same names and seeing the same faces in the press conference all the time, and at the same time a BMW pole, and maybe a win or a another podium for Robert will give the other teams something to think about. Well done to Robert Kubica, Mark Theissen and the whole BMW-Sauber team.

Mosley requests general assembly meeting.
9 agree.
The General Assembly of the FIA is its supreme organ and is represented by the President of each Club and National Authority that are members. These consist of some 222 member organisations from about 125 countries. If these 222 representatives give Mosley a vote of confidence and vote him back in, in the General Assembly meeting, motorsport will lose its dignity for ever. Public leaders who are always in the spotlight do not have a private life unless locked in inside their homes. If caught out in a scandalous situation, and the evidence against them is undeniable, their position becomes untenable and they have to take the only way out of a bad situation - Resign.

preview - Bahrain Grand Prix.
7 agree.
2 disagree.
Although this review is a bit more of the same, it is uplifting to read something about F1 instead of whate we have been reading about all week. We had far too many problems last year with teams fighting and accusing each other over spying controversies and other matters, for us to be embroiled in the current MM dirt episode. Throw the man out and let''s get on with enjoying the racing.

Crown Prince of Bahrain tells Max: Don't come.
2 agree.
1 disagrees.
The Prince's letter which is written with the utmost diplomacy conveys only one short message to Max Mosley: " Don't you dare to come to Bahrain you pervert". Let's see if other countries shall have the balls to act likewise.

Mosley hits back at BMW and Mercedes.
5 agree.
1 disagrees.
The man has not only degressed himself in mire but he is now insulting both BMW and Mercedes about their loyalties before and after WW2. No doubt, he will turn on Honda and Toyota for the same reasons shortly. Is this man really so thick skinned as he's making out? To add insult to injury he's making the FIA to answer these manufacturers directly in his defence. What a pratt!!!!! Give the guy the bum's rush.

Manufacturers condemn Mosley.
3 agree.
Covert operation or not the man has failed as a leader and as the President of the ultimate authority in Motorsport, which encompasses so many major industrial concerns, and leaders of industry who behave with the greatest of integrity in their private and public lives. The manufacturers have now made it clear that his behaviour is deplorable. The more he procrastinates in tendering his resignation, the worse the repercussions are going to be for the sport. He should be thrown out of office.

Mosley says 'sorry' with letter to FIA.
3 agree.
2 disagree.
The man has made a laughing stock of himself, has humiliated his family, and as its President has put the FIA in disrepute. If one removes honour and respect from a person what has he got left? Private life is private only until it is made public, and if one is a public figure than his deeds become the domain and interest of everybody. Just immagine the FIA president giving out a disciplinary ruling to anyone and everybody bursts out laughing because Max has brought out the whip!!!! The quicker he goes the better for everyone.

Mosley 'embarrassed', but refuses to go.
6 agree.
1 disagrees.
"I am very sorry if this has embarrassed you and the club" - Max Mosley to the FIA. Max this episode has not just embarrassed the FIA and its officials it has embarrassed everyone that forms part of Formula 1 and not just the teams but the thousands of F1 followers around the world. Your word now, has the value of the grunt of a pig in a pig sty. Clinging to power within the FIA for his remaining time would just be the same as Mugabe clinging to power in Zimbabwe regardless of public opinion to the contrary. Max, you have put your foot in it, so please go away, it is less humiliating for you than us having to see you around GP's on FIA business and saying look at that pervert.

Ex-world champ insists: Mosley must resign.
5 agree.
When one holds a high position in any sphere, especially if that position was obtained through a vote of confidence by delegates of an association such as the FIA, then that person must live up to the trust placed upon him by these delegates. That person must be the epitome of good example to others. If the video that is being shown on the www is authentic and if what the News of the World has reported is true, then MM has lost all respect for and from everyone in F1, (except BE it seems), and should resign without any further delay. The presence of such a person alone should bring the FIA in disrepute, let alone his leadership of the premium organization of motorsport.
