Am so pleased Shinya hasn't been pushed out of racing. Like Guintoli, they've never been provided with the "top-shelf" MotoGP bikes so have only ever been pretty mediocre in the points and (perceived) talent. It's a shame Guintoli wasn't offered a WSB ride, as the series has been (let's be honest) far more exciting to watch than MotoGP these last couple of years.

Would be interested to know what the TV viewing figures of WSB are like over the last few years. Bet they've been steadily growing again. Seems to be getting more and more popular with race fans as the place for thrilling action (as also noted by Mr Rossi).

Good luck to Shinya, I'll be rooting for him, he's a true gentleman.

yep, that one too Morgue... the Valencia one was the same but red and white... Saw an R1 in those yellow and black Laguna colours a few months ago (it was an official LTD edition in the UK) and it looked beautiful... Funniest paintsceme though was Rossi's helmet at Mugello... when he was crouched behind the screen with his head popping over the top it was hilarious... Riff Raff, I still think the Repsol bikes look ace! Saw a Repsol Fireblade at Donington this year and it looked superb!

All the REAL experts out there (Mamola, Doohan, Schwantz etc) said the Jerez move was hard but completely fair, but then again they know nothing compared to the armchair critics on here right? Mocker (the return of Cowan agan... sigh) and Dawkwaknight will get a dig in at Rossi at every opportunity so take it with a pinch of salt...

"It was Sete's amateur dramatics that caused Rossi to smirk" Indeed it was... even at the time I was laughing. It was obvious Sete wasn't hurt and transferred his mental anguish to his elbow. LOL it was soooo put-on by Sete! Even when he pulled into the pits and walked past Rossi... he stopped and glared at Rossi who glared back... Who was gonna throw the first punch? Not Rossi's team... All that was missing was the Clint Eastwood "Good, Bad and The Ugly" music! LOL... No that wa funny! Find the pic of Rossi and Gibernau on the podium... excellent!

I miss Sete, he was a good rival for Rossi (in his day) and his ridiculous emotional theatrics made him a fun guy to watch (his regilious inclinations became hilarious after accusations of having "visitors" at night)... Good onya Sete... However, his statement of "That's my main goal: to enjoy riding. I'm still open to learning again, even at 35... I'm going to have to work very hard and I'm ready for that"... What a completely stupid "I'm an old man but will try to kick off my slippers" attitude! I bet hopefuls who ache for a MotoGP ride will boil with fury at this! Still, another bike on the grid and that's a GOOD thing!

"Suzuki could sign Rossi and they still won't win a championship on that pile of cr*p bike" I bet people said that about Yamaha in 2003...

"If he can have this good of a season on a sat"... That sat was doing perfectly ok next to Hayden's factory bike last week! Dovi is ace, can't wait to see him on a Repsol next year, but I don't think his bikes is as "customer" as some people think!
