Laguna Seca - Free practice times (2).
What has happened to James Toseland? I thought he might be a potential podium finisher this weekend, or at least in the top 8, but he isn't looking so good: could it be the tires? Colin Edwards isn't looking too smart either. Hopefully they will come up with something on the day. kind regards ricky

Toseland excited by Laguna return.

James may do very well at Laguna and surprise a lot of people. I would be tempted to back him for a place if I gambled, the odds would be good no doubt, kind regards ricky

Toseland excited by Laguna return.
8 agree.
Maybe the biggest problem James has is his own country people expecting too much of him in his first year of motogp. Also he has a few other problems: such as a bunch of young guns who have not come up through WSB like James, but the rough and tumble of the junior motogp classes. Next year he will do even better, but so far he is doing pretty well for a newbie I would have thought, kind regards ricky

Rossi: I've made my mistake.
Valentino is certainly a chance this weekend, he always is. Bikes are a way of life over here in Australia it's true, and there is plenty of room and opportunity to ride them hard, even today. As a young lad I rode many bikes, they were all around me. Ducatis have always been very popular here, going way back. We called them *ducrapis* due to the crap wiring and chintzy lights etc, but they were much loved for the speed and the style. I would like to see Valentino and C.S both ride for ducati, with J.B in there too but I can't see it happening sadly kind regards ricky

Rossi: I've made my mistake.
Hey Pagoda, If what you said is true about yourself you maybe didn't cut it over here so: have a good look at your attitude and the way you deal with people, figure out how come it all went so wrong and make a few corrections......it's not too late, maybe your life will improve as a consequence. As far as Ian Thorpe and your very serious allegations go, does this mean you are accusing C.S of being a drug cheat by association somehow? kind regards, ricky

Posted by Dray: Do you think my early records should count and be written into history? WHAT ABOUT CASEY, DO YOU THINK HIS SHOULD COUNT? LMAO....LOL...LOL Bit of a difference between you and C.S.....he is a world champion at what he was good at when he was young and you are not, so your records don't count (except to you) and they are of no interest so you shouldn't mention them here, kind regards ricky

Stoner wins Dutch TT, Rossi falls.
forgot to say: last year ducati apparently sandbagged through early testing and got the jump on everyone because it was the first year of 800cc, is it possible they have pulled another smart move this year with the timing of this recent upgrade? kind regards ricky

1 agrees.
Very disappointed with the racing generally this season but the championship battle itself has been interesting and tense. As far as TC, auto lean (whatever that is), sat nav etc: all very fascinating but perhaps too obviously the way to go in a prototype class. But when you add a rider with motogp ability then these bikes are not something that simply carry the rider around automatically. Clearly the yamahas had the technical advantage in the first 1/2 of the season, but now ducati do, or at least one ducati does. Too many offs and dud bikes, they all better smarten up a bit, it's looking bad, kind regards ricky
