Not bad, i said stoner wud set a low 1:55 maybe early 1:54, and the next rider would be 4-7 tenths behind.. i'm impressed with that, even though having not raced a bike i surely have absolutely no knowledge of motogp what so ever. I think qualifying is gonna be completely different from the race, if the first set of times were what we will get as a race pace, it's going to be very close. Well done stoner, blitzed it, bit gutted rossi didn't get the last lap in due to hayden's fall, hope he's ok, been a horrible weekend for him. Roll on tomorrow.

i don't know why motogp have put that he done it with one lap, because he stuck in a good run of laps close to stoner's time. i managed to find the session on a stream and watch it. Melandri got a tow off rossi for 2 laps, but it show's that the pace is there, im really looking forward to qualifying.

All this going on...and for all we know, stoner and rossi could be bowled off at the first corner tomorrow. Obviously no one wants to see that, but who know's hey.

funny i watched the session online and rossi was consistently lapping within tenths of stoner's times. the lap time's are close, but i think stoner will pip qualifying, i reckon he'll set a low 1:55 maybe early 1:54 and probably end up about 4-7 tenths faster than the next person. Question is can he keep them times up for the race distance tomorrow, if rossi is within striking distance with about 5 laps to go, i think we might see a repeat of 2005 @ jerez.

So now the ducati is the worst bike on the grid, lmao...any excuse for stoner's groupies to big him up. I wouldn't say stoner is such a big favourite for the win tomorrow, if he doesn't win his wrist will still be giving him a hard time, if he does win he'll be a hero for riding through the pain. Rossi is very close it's gonna be very tight and hopefully very exciting. I can see how stoner will get away though, launch the ducati off the start, rossi will have a bad one and have to make up positions, by the time he's 2nd, stoner will be 2-3 seconds away and possibly be able to hold on. I'm just glad its close, i dont think anyone expected rossi to be this close to stoner.

Have i missed something, at Jerez he was going pretty fast, in between then and now has he had more surgery? I don't understand if nothing has changed why he's struggling to do a lap here but was flying around jerez with no problems.

He basically said to yamaha 'give me a better bike than 07 and the same tyre's as casey, and i'll win' He was true to his word and won the 08 championship, no one mention's anything about pedro spitting his dummy out and swapping to stones towards the end of the season. The fact is, rossi wanted what stoner had, that being the tyre's...he got them and he beat stoner fair and square, stoner fan's don't like it. I hope this season is a great battle down to the last race, if stoner wins it, yeah i'll be gutted but he'll have deserved it and i'll give him credit for it, he's fast as f88k and im glad he's in motogp cos if he wasn't rossi would be gone by now.

You've just got to look at the lap times they put in, on their run's. Apart from stoner's fast lap, rossi matched him, and on the ideal lap time rossi in one tenth behind, it has the signs of being a great battle between the two of them, lets just hope lorenzo and edwards can get in the mix as well and a few more. GO ROSSI!!!
