Indeed Halem, Rossi rode the last part of practice with 'old tyres' to understand the amount of grip he had at the end of the race in these conditions. That's why he didn't get a better time the last 15 minutes...

Congratz to Stoner. All those who say Rossi is finished should look at last season. Many said that too but look in the end who was champion! And Rossi's progress (Losail 2008 5th and now 2nd) If that progress goes on (and we conclude like the other fanboy's) then Rossi will be champion with an even bigger margin than last year. The ones taking conclusions from the first race, don't know what they are talking about. Anyway let's wait for the rest of the season and let's hope for more battles like Laguna 08. Tom
