I have a feeling Rossi has resorted to plan B, put a softer tire on, disrupt Casey's usual game plan of dominating every session. Casey is a lot smarter and far more mature now and he will beat Rossi at his own game. Rossi will then be scrambling to find a new approach.

250: Simoncelli wins in Australia, title in sight.
1 agrees.
Anyone who is even remotely trying to say this is a conspiracy is an idiot. Locateelli lawn darted into the tarmac at around 80 to 100mph. Anyone who has ever crashed a motorcycle knows how traumatic a crash like that can be. Not to mention that Locatelli had that severe accident back in 2007 where he was in critical condition. the guy knows what it's like to be injured and clearly he was in a serious condition which is why he called for immediate help. I just pray that he makes a full recovery.

Sorry for Simon, off to F1.
2PAC, without a doubt I see Marquez becoming the new and improved Dani Pedrosa. The kid is only 16 so he still has time to grow. As a matter of fact, I'm going to make my prediction now and say that Marquez will be on the Aspar bike next year and will win the title before going to the Moto2 class. Marquez is seriously talented.

Lorenzo: Like a movie!
2 agree.
18 disagree.
When the race broadcast started and the first thing they showed was Jorge picking his bike up from the mud, the first thing I said is that this is like a movie. Did anyone notice that gorgeously ironic tail section camera shot of Jorge as he rode back to the pits with mud splattered across his Fiat leathers and the majestic clouds in the Mugello sky? It was an awesome shot and I would love to find a still of it somewhere as it would make for a great desktop background or even poster. Jorge played it so cool and proved that after stoner regains his title this year, the next year will surely be his.

Edwards fifth on spare bike, Toseland 'pumped'
1 agrees.
1 disagrees.
AHAHAHA!!! The funniest thing about this whole debacle is that Toselands own fans have to defend him before anyone else even says anything negative about him! The guy is happy to make it into the top ten in his second year in MotoGP on a top bike... I'm sorry but any true racer, races to win. Perhaps you Toseland fans should take James and your Toseland Cosmo Magazines (google it) back to WSBK.

Hacking was running up in 6th for most of the session he was then in the pits with about 5 mins left to go and didn't go back out before dropping to 10th. Spies has said that the speed in WSBK is about the same as the top ten guys in AMA but that there are just more top guys.

Dovizioso: From 'not fast enough' to factory Honda.

All I know is that he better start getting that bike on the box soon, otherwise we will see him on a suzuki or a satellite team for next year...

It's a bit ironic how this happened to Sylvain. Anyone remember the Sylvain and Hoffman incident at the top of the corkscrew last year?

Hacking joins PBM Kawasaki for Miller.
2 agree.
Nieto is a waste of a solid piece of machinery. If they're not going to get Mladin on the seat, then they need to give Blake Young a shot. he should be recovered by then and I'm sure he is looking to get on the world stage ASAP since AMA is going to hell.
