I have a feeling Rossi has resorted to plan B, put a softer tire on, disrupt Casey's usual game plan of dominating every session. Casey is a lot smarter and far more mature now and he will beat Rossi at his own game. Rossi will then be scrambling to find a new approach.

Spies to give all at 'awesome' Monza.
1 agrees.
"The Ben" definitely thrives on pressure. I've seen him do the impossible in the AMA and the guy knows how to win championships. But, I think that both of his crashes have been due to his ego getting the best of him. With that being said, The Ben will win the double and put himself back into title contention.

Ben Spies: I probably lost a couple of tenths...
2 agree.
5 disagree.
I really hope Spies doesn't make the mistake of staying another year in WSBK. I know he had become complacent with staying in the AMA championship instead of taking on the world stage and that was why I had initially lost some respect for him. I want to see him on a full factory supported yamaha in 2010 in MotoGP. He's proven he's a head above the rest of the world superbike grid and he may even make the series boring with dominant leads. So I want to see him up against Rossi, Stoner, Pedrosa, and Lorenzo. The time is now, he needs to prove how good he really is.

Edwards: New Yamaha 'like a 990'
3 agree.
1 disagrees.
Perhaps the bikes are finally evolving into their potential and it will now be mainly a competition between the riders instead of the machines. If what colin says is true then the 09 bikes will be 990's with much less weight. (The ultimate bike) Looking at capirossi and Vermulen's great times on the suzuki, it's possible that if all the bikes are finally sorted the only thing holding the riders back from the glory days of last lap battles is the "getting used to" the bridgestone's aspect. I personally think it's a good thing kawasaki left, they couldn't cut it in the class so it was time to move on. no use making the rest of the gp field look bad. 2009 will be a rebirth for MotoGP

Toseland: The biggest accident of my career
3 agree.
Spies may have required a 2 million dollar salary, but according to MCN the damage done to James' bike on the first day of testing is around 200,000 pounds. All that on the first day of testing when the economy is in the crapper! With james' record you can add another 6 of those onto his salary and well, you can do the math...

Nakano debuts race-liveried Aprilia.

Yeah, I've been waiting forever to see this bike in race trim and when it is finally revealed it looks like an old school RS50 paint scheme.... The damn bike looks better in all black and carbon fiber. Hopefully they will pick up a sick title sponsor and get their graphics on point.
