I'll rather think Ducati made Loris "a favor", as Loris didn't adapt to the 800cc Ducati. As Casey rode so well, there was actually a good argument not to change this aspects of the bike, and Casey became world champion! On the long term quite smart and brave of ducati to relay on Casey. The issue though is that it seems that only types like Casey like this bike! I guess there is something about that "rogued" side of Casey that made Casey and the 800cc Ducati go like Egg&Bacon.. seems like many Australians likes the bike a bit "wild", just look at Casey, Bayliss, Chris V. and McCoy! Is it the fine Australian Shiraz wines or something wild from the northern territories that makes that?
