BIGSNOOPY, Edwards is using Pedrosa's bike setup and data, that is the only way Edwards could be faster than Rossi. Stoner has been using Dani's setup from the 250cc days, that is why he won the title last year, and Rossi used Dani's data all of his years at the MotoGP (Dani's data from 125 & 250cc), that is why he win more than a few races. I even heard that Leob use Dani's bike setup on his car, that is why Leob is so fast on the tarmac!!!!

OLDBOY, Ill will rather not comment on Rossi using Pedrosa bike data, it is so obvious! BUT, as BIGSNOOPY commented yesterday, there is a strong possibility that Rossi is using Jason Crumps bike setup!!! Wow, that totally explain why Rossi is bad at starts, he uses only one gear, which have to be quite long (to reach 300km/h++), and such a long gear will be VERY hard to handle at the start!!! Mind you OLDBOY, Crumps bike is a natural big bang engine bike!! :-o

reaper46, yes yes yes, but Stoner didn't have the pace today to win from pole, so leave it and focus on your hero. As for Rossi, he rode great and won, smart move from him to use Dani's settings!!! :) Dani, well,as expected didn't have anything to mount when Rossi passed him, walk in the park for Rossi. Luckily there is still one more weekend of WSBK and a possible Bayliss/Haga thriller!!! PS, why don't you Stoner haters pick a bit on Lorenzo who crashed, or Edwards who just cruised around? BTW Casey was down on top speed, only 10th or so.

Here is what Bayliss thinks about Rossi and Stoner (superbikeplanet.com) when asked about fastest riders:"A [Pause] Well, I think it's got to be Valentino, actually. Yeah. Because he's just [pause] just a - he's just like another cut above everybody else. Casey, at this moment in time, is probably the fastest man in the world, on earth, like with a no fear type attitude. But as far as like class goes and day in-day out, it's Valentino Rossi."

Bayliss said the following interesting facts regarding Haga on a Xerox Ducati at superbikeplanet.com:"the Yamahas have really come along in leaps and bounds over the last few months. Their system that they've got - it's Magneti Marelli, it's the same as ours, but they've got some new bits and pieces to their suspension, and it just looks like it's working unreal. It'll be interesting to see. He might have to change the bike a bit, because I know the way I have my bike, he wouldn't ride it like that, because it's much more physical to ride, and he tends to have a bit more of a direct sort of setting. It'll be interesting."

gaz, how do you know what changes Max wanted on the Yamaha, and even more that the changes Rossi and JB demanded was the same Max wanted?? Dream on. And for the Sterilgrada bike, it is not a works bike, but it is not far behind, Max rode fast some times, but he was not even close to Haga and Bayliss this year. Biaggi might have been offered a Xerox Ducati for free, but even IF Bayliss didn't want him as a team mate (who will want Max as a team mate?? should be funny putting him with Pedrosa!) I bet Max will say no due to money. He could race for Suzuki for the second year if he didn't demand that much!!
