Rossi & Co. really have no choice but to go on the defensive at this point IMO. Sure, there may be a round or two where the Bridgestone/M1 works great from Friday morning, but in most cases Stoner & Ducati will have the set-up data to get a head start from the get-go. I'm not taking anything away from Rossi's ability, I think skill-to-skill he's beyond the rest of the field. This is MotoGP however: tires, electronics, chassis AND rider all have to be in sync to run up front. That said, if Rossi can pull out a championship win this year...it'll be as profound an accomplishment as the Honda-to-Yamaha switch.

Holy ****, there are some venomous Rossi haters out today. Yes he took a risk going to B-stones, yes he's having problems using the 'stones on the Yamaha in these cool conditions. It's not a flat out sign that his career is over and he's completely lost his ability to ride like few others in the world can. Take your ignorant negativity elsewhere if you can't add anything to these comment boards besides, "Oh what a mistake from Rossi to switch to Bridgestone...Rossi should retire from motogp...". How stupid are you???

As a big Haga fan, it''s frustrating to see him in such rough shape going into such a long and competitive season. Shouldn''t have pulled your hand off the bar to flip-off Biaggi last weekend!

D@mn, that's a pisser that Nori took a hit already! Hopefully he can shrug it off and get some decent results. He can take the title this year if he can shrug off the crap that's outta his control. The highside wasn't even his fault, water coming out of the bike, lame.

Agreed j h. I think maybe, just maybe Vale was trying to see how fast he could go on the Q's as opposed to messing with people's heads. Sorry you weren't impressed Bigwl3, I was.
