F1 » Rosberg: Lift and coast not new

They lift and coast the entire freaking race now. Alonso told to save fuel when not even halfway. And drivers talking all the time about saving fuel, nursing tires. F1 has become an endurance race. Saving fuel for 80% of a race to be able to attack in the later stages, only to be unable to attack because there still is not enough fuel, the tires have to be brought home or the wake of the car in front is so bad that you have to keep a distance. Hey Nico, your father may have been saving fuel, at least he was overtaking people too.

F1 » Lauda: I’m not here to run politics…

Mercedes is not the problem. The problem are rules that give us cars which do not run close to the edge, which are not hard to drive, which are ugly and unimpressive, which depend on the engine too much for success. Rules that give us fake DRS overtaking but punish every attempt of a real overtake which sometimes involves a bit of contact. Rules that restrict engines to be run at their max. Aero rules that kill overtaking. A body that requests **** tires from Pirelli to spice up the show.... And on and on and on.
