F1 » Should F1 be celebrating the value of modern celebrity?

F1 should open up more to families and fans, not celebrities. People should have a real chance to see cars and meet drivers. But huge motorhomes for VIP celebrities, celebrities themselves and their crowd of "friends" and security and the sick high price for entry (to scare away the average hard working dad who wants to show his kids what its all about) make that impossible. F1 has totally lost touch with real people. When I, as a kid, got to sit in Senna's Camel branded Lotus 99T with the man himself present, I was hooked. It's not so easy to get that done anymore, altough we did see and meet Max Verstappen at a free accesible demo with paddock access two weeks ago. And hey, now he likes to watch F1 too. Bang, new fan. That's how you do it Bernie. But we will still not pay for pay tv or overpriced track tickets. Celebrities, especially the ones who come for their own attention addiction instead of F1, should just **** off.
