F1 » Renault won’t rush token spend despite deficit

They should have had a fair idea about what to do with the tokens early last season. The ideas should have been on the testbench by june 2014 and fine details honed out over the next months. There is not one excuse why they came with such a poor engine to the first race of this season. So, by the end of 2015 they will have an idea about this years tokens. So in 2016 they will be behind the game again.

MotoGP » Qatar podiums mean Ducati race fuel reduced

All open class Honda's race with 21-22 L fuel too. The tank isn't even bigger than that. Honda and Yamaha never expected that Ducati could turn the bike around so fast. There were agreed rules. Ducati could make use of that and so they did. Good for them. Without that, Ducati would no longer be in MotoGP as that other bike and engine were absolute ****e. And I assume Ducati run a program to make the bike competitive permanently with the aim on the future rules, amount of engines, tires and fuel allowance. If the stuck up bras in Japan would have any focus, they'd have done it too.

And where were all these whiners when Yamaha with Forward decided to abuse the open class formula by handing down Tech3 bikes to Forward just with an open class ECU and software to run it? Leaving Honda look like **** with their true in the spirit of the rules open class over the counter bike? Yamaha knew what was possible with that bike. They knew the potential of using the rules. Nooo, Yamaha was brilliant and Honda was stooooopid I remember. Jeez.

F1 » Alonso expects McLaren success to come ‘soon’

In the past you'd try to test the **** (litteraly) out of the cars before the season. Like 300km a day for a few weeks at minimum. Now they had maybe 300km over the whole pre-season testing and have to make up with it in season with maybe 600km a car a weekend. So at about race 7 or so we should see the real potential of the car. Must be fun to work in that environment, goals race 1: qualify race 2: qualify and finish race 3: finish (corrected because of failure in race 2) race 4: finish and beat Manor race 5: finish and beat Force India, Lotus and Sauber race 6: finish and beat Torro Rosso and or RBR race 7: see race 6 And from there on forward.

F1 » Hamilton: Mercedes didn’t complain when it wasn’t winning…

@Taz Ferrari were whining all the time and pushing for extra tokens or free engine development until the moment they found the loophole and some clever engineer came with the trick that made their engine perform like it performs now with some tokens to spare. Just wait till Renault leaps in front of them again or they are consistently beaten by Williams.
