F1 » Ricciardo wants to experience Monza podium

richard: paddy. you are not still on that hoary old comment that dr has blown vettel out of the water? dr has had the luck of a reliable car, vettel has had the bad luck of unreliable cars. it happens in other teams too, such as ferrari. it doesnt prove anything either way. dr is there to pick up the pieces, which he has been fortunate to do, but he probably be like webber, a nearly man
Richard l just deleted my comment because you have had enough agro, about your ludicrous comment from the posters below,,,,BTW SEB always asks about the power of the car, when he should be asking where the power of the driver has gone!!!

F1 » Raikkonen hopes for ‘welcome surprise’ at Monza

l bet Ferrari would like some return on investment from you Kimi, l think you have been very ordinary this year....maybe my comments are too harsh, but l look at the Button's and KImi's as a businessman,,, do not understand how they justify their incomes!!! .....The teams must have performance clauses in the contracts surely!!.....Drivers like Alonso give 110% from the first GP to the last GP of the season, no matter if the car is crap.........Some of these other highly paid names, drive like they are there for the money..

F1 » Raikkonen hopes for ‘welcome surprise’ at Monza

Marybeth you forgot to mention the Brit GP were he made his car explode by not backing off on the grass,,,,But l read a lot of your back posts and l see you are a true fan of his,, and l respect your opinion,,,, l have had my Favs over the years and l will stick with them through thick and thin..........Having said that, and l have followed Kimi through his career in F1 and Rally careers and reminds me of "Legionella", all the conditions have to be perfect for him to bloom...when he is on it he is unbeatable and unpassable...but not the true all round "on or off the track" GP driver like FA................. l have never known FA to back down from a dog fight or not get every horse or inch of grip out of a tyre or think he can still pick up a place 2 corners from the flag...he has always punched above his machine and will break a holiday or turn up at the garage at 3 in the morn to help with a problem......Kimi is a super talent but can be lazy and at times appear very demotivated...Ma

F1 » Hamilton/Mercedes contract talks on hold

Paula Takington:
Welshie: Paula are you forgetting the 2 (I think) wins Nico Rosberg gave them before Lulu joined? In theory he has another year on his contract, but contracts can be broken. Look at Alonso with Mclaren, he got out one year into a 3 yr contract.
what i meant was since Hamilton joined, the teams come from a struggling team to the best team on the grid.
l don't that has been down to Lewis's input as much as vast amount of money thrown into development by Germany.

F1 » Hamilton/Mercedes contract talks on hold

Objective: If Hamilton stays on at Mercedes both he and Mercedes will regret it. They need two drivers who are dedicated to the team first and their own interests second. I see Hulkenberg, Bottas or Vattel as the best prospects. I think Alonso would only move to Mercedes if he was guaranteed No 1 driver status.
l cannot see Seb and Lewis getting on, Lewis needs to be in a team where he can Dom his team mate......Marussia with Max as shotgun driver
