F1 » Button confident of maintaining momentum

tommytrojan1:
bob jane: Button needs to give it up...never rated him as a top tear driver.
Maybe not, but he's a World Champion, so that makes him a top TIER driver.
So did Hill that means nothing ....Button won his in WC in a blown Brawn and raced by himself for half the season till the protests were dismissed and the rest of f1 caught up....for the cars he has driven he has underachieved and is not nor ever has been top TEAR..what he has been ,is lucky to of debuted in the fastest car on the grid and won a WC because of technology.

F1 » Button confident of maintaining momentum

rob01: Alonso the greatest on the grid couldn't beat him. Hmm. Makes talking about a three year span useless. Add that button himself thinks lewis is top dog and you get the picture.
Dennis and FA was a match made in hell. FA and Dennis hated each other and had to communicate through a mediator in the end , l am surprised he even won a race there...l am sure FA will view the Mac experience as the low point in his f1 life.

F1 » Button confident of maintaining momentum

button was clear number 1 at brawn ,lack of funds (mainly Ross's) and sponsors made all the development go into buttons car, he was hired as number 1 and treated as number 1..Rube was never in a equal car at brawn there was never the funding in the early days the car ran bald of sponsorship... Villie had so many DNF's and mechanical issues he left in disgust before years end ...Villie and button never raced wheel to wheel.......button was a "good average" driver in his day at best....Button Hill and DC got the best seats in F1 which was Williams in those days, because they were British, not because they were the best..
