F1 » Ricciardo: Until it’s mathematically over, it isn’t

Did you mean stellar job? It doesn't bode well to criticize someone with poor spelling. I bet that you would make a few mistakes too if you attempted to post in Sunny's native language. We all know what he meant.......................................................................................................... Well said Mark! English is my native and I struggle with my written grammar...English is not the first lang for lots of posters in here...please do not bully over grammar

F1 » Ricciardo ‘riding crest of a confidence wave’

sky1: Dan's moves were quality but they were against cars which were tyre-less grip wise, even I could have passed Lewis and Alonso in a Red Bull with fresher tyres. Some people need to get real.
Sky l don't think you could get the heat into the tyres or brakes to stay on the track , assuming you got the car off the grid...and this it not meant to disrespect to you....these drivers are super fit and super super mentally fit...(l raced old saloons at a snails pace compared to F1 for many years and mental fatigue was always my enemy) ...DAN after nearly 2 hours of racing " better tyres or not "pulls overtaking moves....this is very special skill...and why these guys are the worlds best....l have always found it astounding how these drivers keep their mental fitness for 2 hours.....

F1 » Wolff: Team orders masked reliability problems

flyboyaviator: Well, I think Hamilton was always a jerk, he is not a real goos driver, average at best. Nico on the other hand is been around for a while, and for the first time he's car is fast, again he is just your average driver with friends in the right places, he's father in this case (nepotism)?? I do wish Nico to win this year, he paid his dues. Best of luck to Nico.
Well Fly as for your profile assessment of Lewis's personality, l think you are spot one....Although as for assessment of his talent l think you are way off the mark...l think lewis is about the hardest and aggressive racer out there (prolly sometimes over drives) l do not recall a race were Lewis has not put in 100%...he is a born racer....there would not be a team who would not want him.

F1 » Ricciardo: Until it’s mathematically over, it isn’t

sky1: Doing a stellar job Riccy it would have been nice if Vernge was with you so you guys could carry on your battles from the Toro Rosso days thus giving you a bit more competition than you are getting at the moment. Vernge looked good on Sunday when giving Nico some trouble.
IMO Vergne is quick when he is on it, but inconsistent and erratic and will never be signed by a top team, think his teammate might....Dan's lack of tyres made them look closer than they really were last year.

F1 » Alonso and Hamilton praise ‘fantastic’ Ricciardo

richard: pau1. i think that you are right. but to give him his dues, ricciardo did make an attempt at passing. however, lest w forget, seb outqualified him, and was ahead in the race until he made an error and spun, hitting the wall. after that, he was driving a damaged car with squiffy suspension, and to give seb his dues, he even told the team that he would continue and try to redeem something from his error. it was obvious that he was struggling for speed. look at the way that kimi was able to pull away! ricciardo was lucky, but he seized the opportunity and he earned the win, far more than lulu earned third!
Richard you failed to mention that DR was "unlucky" when the 2nd safety car was called and he was 6secs down the road from the field and increasing his lead...lets keep things in perspective..........but l think SEb is coming he has been on it the last couple of races
