BSB » Oulton Park - Qualifying times

Locks46+91+38&35, My solution isn't perfect - I get random ads on downloading BBC iPlayer, and the feed sometimes drops off, then comes back, but it is free. During the Canadian GP the video and audio went out-of-sinc, which was annoying to say the least. I've also heard that one can buy a certain type of satellite dish, and receive free TV from around the world. I should finally have mentioned that Duke Video provides seasonal reviews of the BSB, etc., and one can probably buy the cinema release of I, Superbiker now.

BSB » Oulton Park - Qualifying times

Joel, I can't help you with the 1st question, though the British Superbike website may be of use. As for the second, do a search for Expat Shield, then download the software. After that is done, I believe the BSB is on ITV, for which you can do a search in Expat Shield. This may take a bit of trial-and-error, but it works for me. I watch F1 and MotoGP this way.

Le Mans » Porsche to make Le Mans return

As I remember it, this was an (extended) family feud, the Porsche side of the family trying to buy-out the VW side of the family. Porsche went broke in the attempt, and was absorbed by VW. This may explain why there hasn't been a new racing Porsche since the 2005 RS Spyder. I don't think they just want to relie on the 997, which is towards the end of its development. If only for marketing reasons, & to maintain market share in the US, where diesels are not that popular, I'd bet the new Porsche will be a gas-hybrid.

MotoGP » Spies second-place ends on the floor after ‘taking it easy’

Did anyone else notice that during the TV coverage, sometimes one camera lens would be clean, then later another would be spotted with rain drops? I wonder if there were intermittent showers during the race, and the changing track conditions just caught the riders out, leading to the number of falls. I don't want to make excuses for Ben, he hardly needs me to justify his performance, but he tried to identify what happenned, and admitted his mistake. Whether he'll succeed in MotoGP time will tell. He seems much more self-reflective then many others, and at least has a sense of sportsmanship, in a sport that needs all it can get.
