bad news....
but its nothing to do with bad luck...
bad luck is hitting a bird, tire exploding and so.
a high-side comes as a result of a rides error.
sorry Hoppy it was in your hands.
i really hope he feels better soon.

Saran. I'm not taking anything away from Rossi he and Jeremy had allot to do with the development of the bike, but don't forget that the Yamaha and Michelin were not working that good last year do to tire, engine whatever problem, this years bike and tire is not what Yamaha had last year. this year Rossi is on BStones so he isn't working on Yamaha Michelin development. as Lorenzo and Toseland were new riders Colin was the one working on bike/tire development, if you go back to pre season test times you see Lorenzo and JT bettering their Pace test by test.

just a thought... fuel consummation depends on riding style as well. Danni's smooth riding style allows him to ride with the throttle ope longer. maybe that's why he has that problem.

Jack.. don't forget that the main reason for using the pneumatic valve engine in the fuel consumption. its the only way to keep the engine working in "full power" for all the race length. the rumors are that Pedrosa has more then enough power at the start of the race but at the end when fuel is getting low the on board computer shuts the power of in order to reach the finish line, its not all about top speed and power.
