Mr Kipling Judging by the forums from the Monaco GP onward there would seen to be an increasing UK/worldwide antipathy towards LH, (contrasting with the sycophantic LH exploitative UK press view). If true, why is LH so unpopular, I daresay it's something to do with the perception of arrogance, cheating, snide comments, mendacity, manipulation, allied to his plausible (LH good FA bad) press conference delivery all year that had something to do with it. Hamilton is quite different to any driver who's preceded him in F1 in being so PR savvy but unlike say Schumacher (parking without a permit) at Monaco who was astute enough to know when to shut up Hamilton won't or can't! Is that enough?

Davey, Because I had a few minutes to spare and the point was LH lied about why he was moving so why would anyone see him as a role model? Perhaps you are one who sees image as all and condones mendacity to preserve it!

So it was really Anthony at fault and Lewis remains the faultlessly perfect sporting warm human being he's always been. Just a couple of points, a) Nobody's intrested in where he lives or why, but when he lies about it to maintain this 'image' it's assumming my I.Q. is as low as his which I resent. b) LH isn't most people's idea of a role model no matter how much Anthony might wish the his PR juggernaut could convince us otherwise. Interesting that both LH and Anthony are so preoccupied with the PR aspect of the Hamilton 'image' they fail to recognises that the genie been out of the bottle since Monaco. I suppose if Anthony keeps on saying it's so, then even he may come to believe it
