I think Casey has had a bit of a reality check, he really seams to genuinely appriciate where he finished and hopefully he stays this way. I look forward to seeing some good racing throughout the rest of the season. IMO he is a very good rider (along with the whole field, but certainly amongst 6 or so exceptional riders) but it has to be said that there is is only one totally outstanding rider in the current crop....

Not so sure about a big ego? More like very confident, there's a BIG difference - as The Morgue sais, he delivers & there's no real reason for that to tapper off if you look at his consistency thoughout the last couple of years, I think he has the goods to take it to anyone in the feild and I wish him all the luck. PS I'm probably a bit different to most who post on here, as I'm not anti any rider, and am a BIG fan of several riders, inc. Rossi and Stoner! Just hope the level of racing stays as good as it has been so far this year!

You got a valid point Ducman - not to mention they're increasing the exposure in the USA with two rounds now!

'West is strong but switched from well-known 600 SSP to unkown Motogp machine' I think not: Westy rode the 600SS a grand Total of 3 times!? - Two of those he won

Rain or shine, I don't care - a good race is all I want. I think JT is going great so far and is only going to improve from here. - not sure about rbr46 comment "race in wet conditions so pedrosa will be 2nd best" - from what I've seen, I thought Pedrosa was scared of the rain? LOL

Actually, that's not true. It is not possible to race in 125, 250 and MotoGP as Dorna don't allow it. But you are right, you can't compare the riders of old - totally different situation/circumstance. However, there is definitely a rider standing out in the current crop?

Don't forget to take into account the 'Difficult weather conditions' so comparing times against last years Race ain't exactly Apples with Apples - never have liked Schumacher, but have never failed to be impressed by him either. A True living Legend!
