MotoGP » Nicky Hayden made a MotoGP Legend

Wink54: LEGEND?????? Nope, no way..... Good guy and dam good rider in his day, Yes.....
Better refrain yourself from commenting when you don't have the courtesy to wish an out going rider. He deserves the status of Legend for his personality and so many years of good service...
So given your criteria for 'Legend staus' that means Colin Edwards should of been given the same when he retired. All due respect to Nicky, he is indeed a nice guy, and I hope he does well in WSBK but come on personality doesnt make somebody a legend does it? Yes he has a WC under his belt, both so has both MM and JL and neither of them are legends...YET.

Deano B: So given your criteria for 'Legend staus' that means Colin Edwards should of been given the same when he retired.
Colin is a WSB legend, I love the guy, he's class on and off a bike. But he never won a MotoGP race where as Nicky has won a MotoGP world championship. Whether he is a legend in the true sense of the word is debatable. Short on talent at the highest level, but more than made up for in determination and a never-say-die attitude. I respect that. But if they gave Capirossi a place at the 'Legends Table', then Nicky certainly deserves one too.
I actually agree with R1LYS1 (for once!) where he said that they throw around the term 'Legend' far too much these days. For me it would take 3/4 championships at least for a rider considered a true legend.

MotoGP » Rossi wants Lorenzo title fight 'on equal terms'

HansieMGP: Rossi's championship already ruined by Mr. Marquez, both in Philip Island & Sepang. For who don't believe they have to watch both races clearly, it is pretty obvious for me, and certain for Rossi and some other experienced riders saw the same. In Philip Island in beginning Marquez easily could close cap to Lorenzo, then a few laps he falls back to hold up Rossi & Iannone and in the last lap fastest race lap and closed a big gap to Lorenzo quite easily. For the ones who don't see this, they are blind or have no racing knowledge. If Rossi has to start from back only big mistake by Lorenzo could save him.....
Iannone could have givin Rossi 3rd place in PI he didnt do so, now does Ianonne come in the same line as Marc who actually won that race. No so bring some facts on the table and come back
Are you not bored trolling yet???

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi appeals Sepang penalty

theeagle: Lorenzo was quoted as saying he 'lost respect' for you Vale, now sorry pal but Im joining the list. You take your punishment like any sportsman, you dont use your name (and money) to get out of it. Sour grapes.
So theeagle if you was this close to winning a 10th world championship (knowing it probably could be your last real chance) and you were handed this penalty, you would take it like a sportsman would you?? Yeah right..... Some people on here don't half come out with some utter sh**te Any of the top riders would do what Rossi is trying to do if they had to. Whilst Rossi is there he should mention the fact that there are no rules in place to stop Marquez (or anyone else) from interfering with other riders races, yet Rossi received a penalty point from being on Lorenzo's racing line during a previous qualifying session, even though this did not affect the end result.

MotoGP » MotoGP confirms ITV highlights deal

Highlights 24hrs after a race after dodging various social media sites to prevent spoilers is a non-starter for me. It just doesn't rock my boat tbh!! As much as I hate the fact of paying £15.00 to BT sport solely for Moto GP (I dont really watch football), there sadly is no alternative if you want to watch the race live. So I just phoned up Sky and told them I could get BT sport for free if I left Sky and got my boradband etc through BT. Sky reduced my package by £15.00 a month so apart from the initial "admin fee" of £15.00, I now have BT Sport in HD for no extra costs. If you don't ask you don't get!!!
