RECOMMENDED COMMENT
10 agree.
Roger Burnett made a very good point on BBC commentary today, that CS only puts a few (3/4) staggeringly fast laps in which put him .5 sec faster than anyone else, and while his race tyre pace is fast too he doesn't do race simulations with his race tyre and doesn't know its limits in a race,he's trying to get in peoples heads and make them think he's unbeatable before the race has started, showing domination during practice and qual but he's not discouraging VR and he hasn't got the knowledge come race daY to make a fight. VR just sticks at it,putting pressure on CS till he pushes too far.

Hopkins: It's the Rossi/Stoner front.
2 agree.
2 disagree.
Slightly confused over the comment 'feels identical to the same tyre Rossi and Stoner have been using but we were unable to run' Does John mean they weren't allowed the tyre by Bridgestone,it was only for Rossi and Stoner? Or that they tried it but didn't like the feel? because after one day of testing they've made a change that allows them to use it,why couldn't they do that 6 months ago instead of bringing up the rear?

Michelin bids farewell to MotoGP.
1 disagrees.
While Michelin could make a tyre for the next day and ship it overnight,Bridgestone couldn't and therefore had to create a tyre that would operate over a greater range of conditions and temperatures, why Michelin couldn't adapt this way is beyond me. When the restrictions came in,Bridgestones tyres worked the way they always had, Michelin were playing catch up,and they still struggled to make competitive tyres even after a year of data,Michelin were lazy and complacent it seems, and now we will have even bigger restricions on tyres next year because Bridgestone didn't want the single tyre rule any more than Michelin, the racing may become less competitive and the spectacle could be gone

Suzuki targets 'massive leap forward'.
3 disagree.
Maybe Suzuki should have offered up their bikes for Michelins, they need some sort of divide between them and the bigger players because the machinery isn't up to the task,we could also have avoided the single tyre rule if the split was enough between manufacturers tyre deals,Ducati were willing to switch their 5 bikes to keep competition alive

'Fantastic' front puts Edwards on top.
2 agree.
1 disagrees.
I like Colin,I hope one day for him to win a race but also wish he'd stop talking himself into a corner, there's always this magic setting that he finds and proclaims to have finally found the package he needs to win but the win never comes, then the excuse follows, remember when he changed the fork offset on his RCV by 2mm and it was all roses, finished on the podium at Donington then back to relative obscurity? Even Toby and Julian were talking about it this morning

Who thinks Capirossi is on for a podium or better still, the win? Ok,he was on the Duke but the track seems to work for him too, plus weather could play its part,3 win streak at Motegi is not to be sniffed at
