R.I.P. F1!

We have already lost most of the classic circuits now this may be the final nail in the coffin. As much as I love F1 I would rather see the teams stick to their guns that let Max win this one.

On Ferrari needing F1 to sell cars, that simply is not the case. All of the Ferrari owners that I have met are aware of F1 but I would hardly consider them fans of the series. If Ferrari were to run at LeMans and Indy it would create a huge amount of publicity. Probably more publicity than they are getting from on track this year.

@autogyro- I doubt that you care about F1 as you only comment on stories concerning Max and the FIA. Just in case you missed it the championship was decided this weekend. It was a very exciting race. Too bad you are more interested in the governance than the sport.

If you watch the replay you will see the damage to the end plate on Hamilton's front wing after he hit Rubens' tire. On the US coverage McLaren warned him that he had damaged his end plate as well. On the Sutil - Trulli incident it did appear that Sutil jinked towards Trulli at the last second. Trulli should not have gone onto the grass he should have just let Sutil hit him. Then there would have been no question that it was Sutil's fault. If someone is along side of you you can't just drive them off the road. But since Trulli went off and lost control it became a racing incident.

It is interesting how many people criticize Trulli. He is much better than Glock and I don't recall anyone ever being critical of him. It seems that some still hold a grudge against Trulli for Hamilton's fall from grace during liegate.

Webber is one of the most blatant blockers. That move on Kimi was not very sporting.

I agree with Petrolhead. Sutil was the one who got physical by grabbing Trulli. Surely he should have been fined too.

It was a bit optimistice for Trulli to try that pass but Sutil did appear to jink the car towards him. He didn't hold his line.

Ferrari didn't get a fine last year but they didn't cause a fire or torch a competitor either.

Apparently the whole paddock including the FIA knew as well, so what is his point?. Now everyone also knows that Piquet will cheat if you offer him enough.

Has anyone noticed how much Ari and Max look alike? They could be brothers.

@ Jason - they are all within a second of each other. Not really much of difference. Maybe Badoer was not that bad after all and the car is handful.
