F1 » ‘I don’t care’ if double points decides F1 title – Rosberg

maximumverstappen: Strange how many of you act like mercedes being dominant is ruining this years season. At least lewis and nico are racing eachother for the title. Allthough if lewis wins the haters here will be claiming its only because nico is a bad driver. After the first RBR championship, Vettel has been a one man show. Even Button got a domimant car and a #2 driver as a teammate. Personally i find the racing this season one of the better ones compared to recent years.
Really? In 2012 we had seven different winners in the first seven races. It doesn't get much better than that.

F1 » ‘I don’t care’ if double points decides F1 title – Rosberg

likitis: nico is a becoming a significant reputational risk for mercedes...I would like Lewis to get some real competition next year....Merc should terminate Nico and bring in a more worthy competitor e.g. Alonso....
Why would Merc want Lewis to have a more competitive teammate. It would just resort in more bile from the Hamilton fans towards a worthy competitor.

F1 » Mercedes set to make F1 engine freeze compromise

Painless: That's odd, I seem to recall just having to endure four years of boredom that were won by the youngest and most wonderful driver to ever raise one finger. Which all came to a halt when the rules were changed, and said driver is being overshadowed by his rookie team mate. Now, after the first season is not even over, the rules have to be changed again because a different car is winning.
Wow, four years in F1 and still a "rookie". That must be some sort of record.

F1 » F1: Double points could ‘overshadow season’ – Wolff

Googolplex: I am no fan of Lewis, but if he loses to Nico because of the double bubble gimmick points at Abu Dhabi, then no one will regard Nico as a deserving or true F1 world champion. it is such a misconceived and rediculous idea that they should remedy it now, before they potentially face the embarassment of crowning the wrong person WDC.
Nothing like changing the rules mid season to favor your driver. That is more bonkers than the rule you dislike.

F1 » F1: Double points could ‘overshadow season’ – Wolff

andren79: I've never been a fan of Hamilton, but as a racing fan I want the best driver to win and he's the man so far this season. He deserves the points cushion he has built (= almost one race win). Is there any reason why the last race is twice as important? Is it longer? Is it more challenging? No, no, no. So it's up to us, racing fans, to crown the actual champion if anything stupid happens.
I guess that there is no need to run the race then. For some he has already won no matter what happens.

F1 » F1: Double points could ‘overshadow season’ – Wolff

Ponty:
Mark : If Lewis loses by a point then he may regret quitting that race earlier in the season.
You mean that race where his car was damaged and he was slower than the saubers?
It was a strategy call to stop. No one knows for sure what would have happened if he didn't quit. The one thing that is for sure is that if you quit you don't score any points.
