F1 » Rosberg alarmed by German GP uncertainty

Those who think that the organizers should create a coalition to negotiate with Bernie are being naive. The teams cannot even do this. Bernie is a master at dividing and conquering such attempts. Given the current business model there really is no way to make this work. In my opinion the FIA needs to mandate a certain number of races as having historical significance and change the way that these races are organized in order to insure that they are permanently part of the F1 schedule. They could either force FOM to reduce the fee for these races or have them get a share of the television revenues.

F1 » Horner: Vettel nearly quit F1

MrJones85: I'm new to this site but, what I've seen so far is there are a lot of Sebastian Vettel apologists. I'm not sure if Horner has an Ax to grind with Vettel. But, when an athlete wants to quit it shows a lack of character. Especially, for someone so young. In motor sports you have to learn to take the good with the bad.
Well it is natural that Horner has an ax to grind. The wanting to quit bit is very understandable given the numerous factors. The bottom line is if you are not having fun doing what you are doing then it is normal to have these thoughts. I bet most of us have thought about quitting our jobs from time to time. While Vettel had a mountain of bad luck during the season I think that it was pretty obvious to most that the motivation was not 100%. Hopefully a change of teams will reignite the passion for racing.

F1 » Ferrari in F1 - Getting the tifosi back on side

nihi.swann.7: Ferrari to me represents entitlement, unfairness and arrogance. They don't give a f about the little guy.. only that you bow at their alter I haven't pulled for Ferrari since I was a kid, pulling for Gilles Villeneuve and that was only because it was Gilles.. I could F1 doing fine without Ferrari, once it got over the immediate shock
I guess you might as well get rid of the Italian Grand Prix while you are at it. Even if you hate them isn't it good to have a villain or a team to root against? Losing the only team not based in Britain seems like a horrible thing to wish for. F1 needs more teams and more variety, not less.
