R.I.P. F1!

We have already lost most of the classic circuits now this may be the final nail in the coffin. As much as I love F1 I would rather see the teams stick to their guns that let Max win this one.

On Ferrari needing F1 to sell cars, that simply is not the case. All of the Ferrari owners that I have met are aware of F1 but I would hardly consider them fans of the series. If Ferrari were to run at LeMans and Indy it would create a huge amount of publicity. Probably more publicity than they are getting from on track this year.

JT also said it was the best option available. Back to Rosberg - I am not sure what was shown in the UK after the race but on SpeedTV they showed LH and Rosbeg hugging and jumping up and down like a couple of school girls. Makes me hope these two don't get on the podium again together for awhile.

AAHSAC - I have to disagree. Speedtv should get rid of Bob Varsha before they get rid of Hobbs! Hobbs is a crack up. I will admit it took me a little while to warm up to Hobbs but I think he has gotten better with time.

Powerline - How do you go from an article about Rosberg to an attack on Ferrari? As I recall Kimi won last year and the white powder incident happened at Monaco. Have I missed an article where Ferrari are blaming the ECU? For that matter there were relatively few posts by the "fanboys" claiming the ECU had anything to do with it. It seems you just want show what a sore winner you are.

If you listen to Bernie he doesn't need the British or Aussie market either. I think he has something against english speaking countries.

In Lewis's defense I read a quote from PDR that Lewis has been supportive of safety measures when they have asked for his support. Anyone who has had to attend numerous meetings at work knows that they tend to very unproductive and generally not worth the time involved. They also seldom stick to the agenda. I can just imagine what it is like at the GPDA. "Did you see my new helicopter...no but I saw your new boat"

Andy I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I have never heard of Schumacher Ford. They must not have any locations on the west coast. Still have not seen LH in the non-motorsport media here. MS even had a part in the movie Cars.

Andy I think that you are mistaken about Lewis being better known than MS in the US. You must be around people who are just discovering F1.

Maybe they should run it at night so the handful of fans in the US can watch at a reasonable hour. Then BE that little vampire can attend without being in sunlight.
