F1 » F1: FIA pursues legal action over Streiff's Bianchi comments

dickiebird:
Yeyo: I totally agree with Mr. Philippe Streiff comments because he is saying the truth. What happen with the western freedom of speech Mr. Todt and Co. ?
What freedom of speech are you referring to? There is no such thing. It's an illusion. If you utter anything that's not PC, it's the courts for you my boy. They will get you on something, hate speech, racism, or some other nonsense invented to silence the dissenters. Oh yes, try questioning the holocaust in most western countries and you may as well have your suitcase packed as you will be going on an all expenses paid holiday, compliments of the tax payer. So much for freedom of speech.
Do you often find the need to question the holocaust?

F1 » F1: FIA pursues legal action over Streiff's Bianchi comments

Googolplex: I had not heard of Streiff's comments and opinions until the news of the defamation action came out. Suiing for defamation can often be a double edged sword because it almost guarantees the defamatory material is widely circulated. I query whether there is any utility to bringing such an action. It is often better just to publish a rebuttal of the allegations saying they are without foundation. There seems to be a high degree of sensitivity on the part of the FIA here.
I agree I had not heard about it either. I guess we can thank the FIA for making sure that none of us missed this story.

F1 » Maldonado: Lotus has done a lot of clever work for F1 2015

cornerslide: I have trouble every time this guys name comes up. He ended up at lotus because he had more money than Hulkenberg. He may have done well in GP2 but has never shown anything but being in over his head in F1. I still think Lotus would have been better off with Nico. He would finish far more races and in all likelihood place higher in them and cost the team less money. I don't know what the ledger looked like at the end of the season but I can't help thinking that no matter what he paid to get the seat the cost of having him was too high.
He did have a legitimate win in a Williams. Hulk never won a race.

F1 » Bianchi crash could change Malaysia start time

JedPB67:
107SS2009: That is the result of total fixation with Lulufanboyism man, jumping into the fray on a forum without properly following what’s being said.
No not a 'fanboy' I'm just bored to hell of reading the same recurring, predictable, irrelevant and unnecessary comments about Hamilton.
It was about the MD5050 drinking Badman Jose, not Lulu. He was another nutter who used to post a lot. Try to keep up.

F1 » Honda hit by FIA engine loophole

richard: as for a bridge, we soll you yanks a bridge many years ago. unfortunately you did not get what you thought you were getting! so we had the last laugh! :D :D
Are you still spinning that old yarn? This story has been debunked numerous times. Even if you think that McCulloch got duped it was a sale to an individual not to the "yanks". Also the bridge was sold by the City of London which if I am not mistaken you are not a part of.
