F1 » Wolff: Hamilton, Rosberg tensions aired 'behind closed doors'

Stuey99: Anyone who thinks there was double standards or any favouritism to either driver is either a ***** or exceptionally bitter. Probably both. LH won because he was better than Rosberg. Get over it. #passthetissues
Stuey - did you miss the race in Belgium last year where the team publicly lambasted Rosberg and even fined him? Hamilton can barge into Rosberg at will and the team does not make a peep. It you don't call that a double standard then what is it? Also did you miss the disappointed looks on Lauda's and Wolff's faces when Rosberg got pole a couple of weeks ago? Or the grins when he went off track last weekend? If you want to pretend that they don't favor one driver that is up to you but I am not going to call you names for it.

F1 » Rosberg vows to begin fight back in Mexico

4342: @ Mark Why is honesty a big mistake? Nico's honesty meant that good justice could be dispensed to the right culprit.
It was not good justice though. Hamilton was wrong to try to push Nico off the track, AGAIN. Why should Nico have to back down if he is being bullied off the track by another driver? Now it has gotten to the point that Nico cannot race wheel to wheel with Hamilton because the team won't allow it. And Hamilton continues to push Nico off the track at will. The stewards did not feel that Nico did anything wrong so that is where it should have ended. It is too bad when the only real competition that Lewis has is not allowed to race him. The fans are being denied honest and fair competition. If you are a Lewis fanboy then I understand why these things don't bother you.

4342: @ Mark I asked you why Honesty is a mistake. You did not answer instead you waffle. \blockquote] Not waffling at all (although I do love a good bacon waffle). Nico did nothing wrong by not backing down in Spa '14. He got into trouble with the team for being honest and saying that he could have avoided contact. Being honest got him penalized by the team (not the FIA) and they have clipped his wings which is why it was a mistake.

46Renovation: Schumacher was favoured and got away with all sorts of dastardly maneuvres. Senna was favoured and benefitted from many duplicitous decisions by Race Direction. Vettel prevailed unjustly over Mark Webber in blatant team decisions countless times. See what Rossi has just got away in Motogp. These cats are favoured not because they look more beautiful or are nicer persons. They are on those pedestals because they are good! Much better than team competitors or team mates who moan sanctimoniously against injustice or favouritism but cannot command the track or the opposition even in equal machinery. Favouritism is not just handed out. It is won by domination.
Thank you for agreeing that Merc are not treating their drivers equally.

Taipan:
Taz: Well apparently it's quite acceptable to understeer into your teammate man so go for the inside this time. There will be no repercussions....oh, hang on.
Niki has put his management skills to good use and found a solution to the first lap issue, they're not going to talk about it any more.... Speaking to Bild newspaper, he said: “The thing with Lewis will not be discussed any more. It is all done and over. The race stewards did not investigate the incident and neither will we.” Funny because I remember the stewards at Spa last year taking no action but Niki took plenty of action, I wonder why there's a difference?
Nico being honest and admitting that he could have avoided the crash. Big mistake.
