F1 » Kate Walker: F1 goes cock-a-hoop

Webbertron: . Bianchi's crash was just a freak accident, nobody has died in a F1 car for over 20 years. They are still one of the safest places to be.
I believe that three marshals were killed in this time period. Given that these guys are volunteers and most likely do not have the means to get the same medical care as the very wealthy drivers we should really be concentrating on making it safer for the marshals first.

F1 » F1 drivers back speed limit introduction

If it was only the drivers that would get hurt then I would be all for letting them voluntarily slow down. Since this involves the safety of track workers I would rather have a fail safe solution than have to trust that the drivers will do the right thing. In extreme conditions drivers may not even know if there is a yellow flag much less if it is a double yellow.

F1 » FIA: ‘Nothing could have been done better’ post-crash

Dynoprilia: So having tractors in front of safety barriers whilst under yellows is completely safe then ? Possibly the first time I've disagreed with a statement from Charlie. How about someone asks Jules family how safe they think that practice is?
This is especially true given the history of multiple cars going off under similar conditions at that corner.

F1 » Ricciardo: Vettel has controlled frustrations well

rob01: So I am to believe that if Seb was leading the WDC he would have left Red Bull? Now that's some bull.
Maybe he was getting bored at RBR and would like a new challenge.
Helping your team figure out the new formula bores him? Hmmm
If he can help turn Ferrari around he may silence a few critics. Plus they probably have better food and it is a shorter commute to the factory.

F1 » Marussia to run one F1 car in Sochi

Yirmin: He isn't going to be racing again, ever. I don't understand why they are pulling a car, are they going to do that the rest of the season? Because he wont be back for any of the remaining races.
I suspect that they will run a second car in the races following this one. It is understandable that Bianchi's side of the garage may not be in the best frame of mind to compete so soon after the accident.
