Tealeaf

Hamilton got sponsored by Dennis *because* he was winning championships and because he had the gumption to go up to Ron Dennis and tell him he wanted to drive for him age 10.

He showed speed and courage at a remarkable young age - which compares starkly with your pathetic contributions in which you can't even write his name correctly.

I haven't seen the photo, so there may be provocation. Nevertheless, I'll ask some questions - is it acceptable to push people over? - wouldn't apologising be the right thing to do?

Adrian - they did the same before Silverstone - as I recall that race had some overtaking! The Hamiltron - I think not, else Williams have made a major shift forward. More like Ferrari concentrating on longer runs.

Ragged Edge If you saw the incident I'd be pleased to learn more. Else I'll go on what I know. The photographer in question is 56, has been doing the job for near 40 years and said he did not touch any of Kimi's stuff. Kimi, by contrast, is 27 and a professional athlete to boot. Both were there to do a job. Pushing someone over is unacceptable behaviour in almost any situation. To do it to someone who is, presumably, weaker, is cowardly. Not to apologise is charmless. I have a grip, thanks.

richard I can't believe you are unaware that Alonso was an enthusaistic recipient of the Ferrari data last year - anyone reading more than the story headlines would know about this.

GIYMHH You also chose to impose your moral values - for instance your statement "What goes on between consenting adults is their business" is not shared by everyone (Armin Meiwes anyone?). In addition you have presented your argument in a judgemental way, which is ironic. But...I guess the legal debate will turn on whether there was nazi connotations in his games. If there was I can't see how Max will be able to say there is no public interest in this story. Max is an ex Union Movement candidate(a neo fascist party), so the public would be probably be judged to have a legitimate interest in whether Max still gets excited by naziism.

Ahh, religious wars. Logic always wins out in the end. There'll be much recognition that the other side has a valid point, followed by adaptations of what is believed, before everyone adopts a mutually accepted story on what really happened last year. And everyone will be happy. Or maybe not.

Well - your first statement is obvious, and the rest is irrelevant. Feel free to try again.

Mice Nuts You failed in your attempt. You have tried to show that my argument is not solid by attempting to show it is not universal (by asserting that you are not within the defined group). As my post is explicitly non-universal, it has no bearing on the point I made. Do feel free to try again.
