WSBK » Rea ‘OK’ after ‘pushing over the limit’ in Superpole spill

"....riding over the limit is what rider do.." "Over the limit" is figurative...if he was over the limit all the time he would have zero points.... and be dead last in the championship... with that said he was over the limit here and crashed...and he also basically admits, it was not worth it and was a mistake...and to do so in qualifying was not worth it as he could have at least been on the 1st or 2nd he has to gamble on a perfect start and no incidents in the first lap/corner and no issues coming thru to the top spots... more inherent risks that no top rider wants but will do if in that situation...Rea will be fine but this has made the job a little more difficult....

WSBK » Confident Rea aims to keep it simple

jake318: Glad to hear Rea is still going for as many wins as possible . At Donnington Rea played it safe being he had a 100 point lead SO early in the season and Sykes winning created more press excitement than another dominant win by Rea . Its also a smart move as history has shown , aggressive hard charging riders have a tendency to fall when they back off there normal pace
I did not click disagree but Rea had no other choice but to play it safe and settle for was not his points lead that subdued his performance but rather Sykes' superior pace that Rea could not match at Donny...with that said, Rea will win the title this year... just hope Sykes can make it interesting.

MotoGP » Lorenzo masters Mugello, Marquez crashes out

I wanted Rossi to win but he needs to sort out qualifying issues.... with that said to all the naysayers and Lorenzo bashers...including my own "Rossi fans" (who like to disrespect others)...where are you all now...why are you not all talking crap about Lorenzo!!!!!! all I hear is ohhh he likes to check out at the that it???? really??? maybe you should all shut up!! I said it before and will again....write off Lorenzo at your own risk!!! he scored the most points at the end of last year! and many on here also realized that 2013 "should" have been his year, safe for the collar bone injury..he had the most wins and look what he did in Valencia 2013!!!! Talk about race control.... I am a Rossi fan through and through...I want and hope for a 10th title from him...but Lorenzo is the real deal!!!

MotoGP » ‘Over the limit’ Marquez talks Mugello misery

MM is going nowhere...he is a MotoGP great and that is a done deal! Honda and MM have a bright future and the story is not over in 2015... hell the story is not over period for 2015....if this was race 14 of 18 I would concede that he is done but 6 races still early...MM will be a factor come later in the year...if not next race as he and Honda wrap their heads around this issue... PS where are the Honda conspirators??? What is the story this reverse psychology from Honda to lure the other manufacturers in a false sense of superiority by losing? to show how much they control MotoGP?? LOL... Yea I am sure this was part of their plans in their ultimate scheme to control MotoGP?? much like 2004-2012 when they only won 2 world titles..... Honda must be the worst communist leaders in the world!!! where they lose more titles than they win against their competitors in a "rigged series"

MotoGP » Rossi: Lorenzo's form is bad news for me

aaron2112: The answer to his problem is QUALIFY BETTER!!!!! We all know he and his bike can do it..... he just need to put a little more effort into it......
Easier said than done....the time is not enough...Rossi is doing a larger percent of his work on race pace during the weekend...if he stops focusing on that then you may be right, his qualifying would improve but his race performance may suffer... racers know it is Sunday that counts... and this new 15 minute format has really been a weakness for Vale. If Rossi has another weekend like Argentina 2015 or Misano 2014..maybe he can throttle back on race pace work and focus on qualifying but he is rarely that dominant where he can neglect any race pace I do not know what he has to do but he and his team need to figure it out or it will be extremely difficult keeping Lorenzo in arrears....

MotoGP » Rejuvenated Lorenzo 'feeling strong' for Mugello

I want VR for the win but I would be a fool to write off Lorenzo or MM for that matter. Truthfully, I would not be surprised if Dovi surprised everyone else.... I expect Pedro will need a couple more rounds to get up to top step condition but he could throw one in the ring...that would shut the whole lot of us but I am realistic... VR for the win...but just want a terrific race with a big battle for the win!!

WSBK » Dominant Sykes unbeatable at Donington

In general...I agree and had expected that Tom would have a easier time than JR....but what you expect and what actually happens is 2 different things. My problem is fans who suggest that Tom can't ride or has lost talent all of a sudden.. forgetting what Tom has done and where he came from to do what he did. Tom is fast and he is definitely talented and is a world champion level suggest otherwise is ridiculous since he has already done it and was the last and most recent challenger for the title...that is a matter of record!!! Go TS66 and Go JR65!!!!!!!!! True fans just want a battle but are able to maintain respect....the rider who lost doesn't suddenly become crap..TS66 has been 1st or 2nd in the last 3 years so this blatant disrespect is unfounded..Congrats to Rea for his new found level of success...

WSBK » Dominant Sykes unbeatable at Donington

Nick636: Did anyone else notice the BLATANT difference in watching Sykes in these 2 races? Comparing this round to the previous rounds this year, was like watching 2 completely different riders. Tom LOOKED supreme. Confident. Comfortable. I hope this continues and he can make it a fight to the end.
Indeed! He looked like his old self. However, I feel the title may be a little too far out of reach. The points deficit will be very hard to make up if #65 keeps his head. He should hopefully win a few more races, though. And ensure a 1-2 finish on the riders' points table as well as the manufacturers' title for KHI at season's end..
Tom looked his old self because the bike is now doing what he wants it to do...not for a lack of talent, ability or motivation...He simply struggled with the new regs and the new bike. Now he is sorting it, he can shine again

MotoGP » Smith can’t wait for ‘awesome’ Mugello

The way things have been going...I cannot call it. Lorenzo's form is undeniable but so is Rossi and with his start to the year...I would not rule out his once dominance at this track!! but MM is a question mark right now...not his talent or ability!! but his equipment....Ducatis also test here a lot and the Duc is fast without old handling issues....I would not be surprised by a Dovi win! but again the tyre is also a question because OPEN/Factory 2 does not get the hardest race tyre. So TBH I am liking this unpredictability. Because no one can call it without a doubt..we are all making wide assumptions.
