MotoGP » Marquez harder, faster in FP2

The fight for second is on and POPPING!!!! MM too tough at this track! he was already fast and he seems to love this track = unstoppable....well by anybody else but himself... then again...we all thought the same thing in Laguna...not saying Vale will stop him but just that it is possible for someone to stop him!!

MotoGP » Marquez from Espargaro in opening Austin practice

JLO has been strong for his whole career... this 12th position indicates a problem... so those on here hating and busting his chops...please tell me you know more about racing that JLO!! because I am curious to see your credentials!! I am a Rossi fan and enjoyed Qatar as it was a revival for my favorite racer!! but must also admit 2013 Silverstone was a more dramatic race with JLO beating MM on second to last corner! At any rate, I believe JL will turn this around..certainly he needs to do this sooner than later because of the non-score in Qatar.... MM will bag this race also... but lets see how practice goes for the rest of the weekend. Rossi is looking good but spent almost the entire session 1sec behind MM! Go ROSSI...GO MM...Go JLO!

MotoGP » Big weekend for Valentino Rossi

silverdream: I do wish for him to be fighting with marc at cota. But remember that the idiots have bridgestone have reverted to 2013 tyres for this race since they couldnt manufacture the 2014 spec in volume. I do feel that Rossi has a advantage with 2014 tyres.
Rossi had no issues with the 2013 tyres. Rossi preferred them....but all his focus since then has been on the 2014 ones. The bike has improved and Lorenzo prefers the 2013 ones...both were fast on them in preseason! but be was Marquez!! I expect a good battle among the 4 factory guys (Yamaha and Honda) ... should be good cannot rule out SB and AB yet either!

MotoGP » Rain scuppers Ducati MotoGP test

Can't please everyone....we need more competitive bikes upfront to improve the race spectacle and this is an interim solution!! The perfect world most of you live in would simply see Ducati build a fast competitive bike under restrictive rule and go race and win...well unfortunately it doesn't quite work like that. How do I know that??? well lets has happened yet!!! Others just wish everything was even and equal...when the world (of racing or otherwise) has never been...haves a lot, have nots, have a little and have just enough. If we want more bikes and competitive bikes...concessions will ALWAYS have to be made to make up for what teams may lack in other areas such as MONEY!!!!

MotoGP » Espargaro: I could have stayed with leaders

I guess this is never ending....because he now has....and he is showing well on what he got but still being hated on.... Yes he still has to prove in races that he can do it... but he has done great so far... if he was in Colin's position you all would be saying he is worthless but he is representing himself well mixing it up in the top 5 and better in practice and preseason... I thought we all wanted more riders up front??? to stop the procession that was so boring in GP??? Now everyone seems upset because a new face is mixing it up?!! Sorry...just a little puzzled...

MotoGP » Espargaro: I could have stayed with leaders

True words Talentfan... Got to say I am with you on this...Aleix becomes competitive and all of a sudden he is given flack for believing in his abilities and the progress he has made in the preseason!! His race simulation also gave the top guys something to worry about and Rossi inicated that AE was still the bench mark for race day!! so he came under a little pressure (happens at this level) most likely self induced and had 2 big errors in qual....his rebuilt bike was unlikely to give him an advantage in this field of haves and have nots.... The dude is doing good and I am glad he believes in himself! Persnally..I think he should be the Tech 3 team or on a factory Honda.... I said that last year.

WSBK » Giugliano switches it up with record pace

Davide was always fast.... but he used to be so on the ragged edge.. last year he really seemed to settle down and looked lot smoother without losing his edge...those combinations make for a fast rider... Anyway I notice Sykes did not run the transponder which I believe they should do more often because the media get so hung up on who was first etc etc but we tend to forget that this is a test....and it is almost as if there is peer pressure to put in a fast lap even when the team testing schedule may not have included "a qualifying lap" Anyway...good stuff by Ducati and team...

MotoGP » Espargaro: I could have stayed with leaders

Yes ... I am ridng the Aleix bandwagon because this dude has turned my opinion around... when he first got his Ducati ride with Pramac... I thought the same as many on here...he did not earn it, hasn't done anthing to deserve it and he is a waste of a seat!!!!!! When he came back to MGP with the CRT fiasco...I said the same thing he does not deserve to ride in MGP because his resume does not support a place on the grid!! I also thought Randy DePuniet would mop the floor with this undeserving punk...Well guess what!! I am eating my own hat now because this guy(free chance or not) PROVED ME WRONG!! He has used the CRT opportunity to showcase his growth and developing abilities and on his first competitive turn on a proper motorcycle...he has put thread mark on everyones face!! I for one wish this dude the best...

WSBK » EBR set for pre-Aragon WSBK test

One would think that they would first want to prove competitive in a national series or superstock before lunging to the big leagues without a competitive turn in stock trim and local/national series. Do not get me wrong that is how I would play it BUT guess what?? maybe that is why I am not there and they have to be applauded for taking the step and certainly for anyone who loves racing we should be wishing them well for the future.... My opinion is that they should have taken the Superstock route as Ducati did with the Panigale first! but Sponsors want airtime and World Superstock does not get the same coverage. At least not here in the States.
