WSBK » Rea ‘OK’ after ‘pushing over the limit’ in Superpole spill

"....riding over the limit is what rider do.." "Over the limit" is figurative...if he was over the limit all the time he would have zero points.... and be dead last in the championship... with that said he was over the limit here and crashed...and he also basically admits, it was not worth it and was a mistake...and to do so in qualifying was not worth it as he could have at least been on the 1st or 2nd he has to gamble on a perfect start and no incidents in the first lap/corner and no issues coming thru to the top spots... more inherent risks that no top rider wants but will do if in that situation...Rea will be fine but this has made the job a little more difficult....

WSBK » Davies confident with set-up improvements

Monstermash: Chaz most likely got his settings from Giugliano as per usual and who clearly is the better rider...
I like Davide...but Chaz gave Duc the first win correct??? and DG was not around to give him any settings correct? so Davies wins and performs on his own merit...correct? I for one hope Davide will be a future champ but I also admit he needs to find that final piece...consistency with speed

MotoGP » Rossi has led 4 laps, Lorenzo 91

Great job to Lorenzo...every rider can only race using their strength and he is doing it...action speak louder than words. I am a Rossi fan and I also remember the days Rossi would lead most laps and have the fastest lap records at many is true that his qualifying record has never been stupendous but this 15 minute format has really handicapped him or he has not adapted well to it....regardless...Rossi is suffering from a weakness and has to use his strength to make up the deficiency.... no different than what any rider would do if possessed the ability and the machinery...Lorenzo is doing the same..we saw how he struggled in the first 3 races and he turned that around and worked the strategy he knows best and is now dominating... Good job to both Lorenzo and Rossi!!! Now go VR 46 and make this a fight!!!!!

MotoGP » Lorenzo ‘never thought this would be possible’

Sete: Led every lap in the last 3 races says it all! Odds on favorite to take the lead in the championship this weekend.
Are you suggesting that Rossi cannot even get second place? because by my hill billy math....If Rossi is doesn't matter if Lorenz leads every single lap....he will not assume the title lead... with that said...I would not go as far as assume odds on favorite, for the title lead to JL....but I will agree about the win...hope Rossi can upset his momentum....we cannot count out MM yet either...

WSBK » Confident Rea aims to keep it simple

jake318: Glad to hear Rea is still going for as many wins as possible . At Donnington Rea played it safe being he had a 100 point lead SO early in the season and Sykes winning created more press excitement than another dominant win by Rea . Its also a smart move as history has shown , aggressive hard charging riders have a tendency to fall when they back off there normal pace
I did not click disagree but Rea had no other choice but to play it safe and settle for was not his points lead that subdued his performance but rather Sykes' superior pace that Rea could not match at Donny...with that said, Rea will win the title this year... just hope Sykes can make it interesting.

MotoGP » Lorenzo masters Mugello, Marquez crashes out

I wanted Rossi to win but he needs to sort out qualifying issues.... with that said to all the naysayers and Lorenzo bashers...including my own "Rossi fans" (who like to disrespect others)...where are you all now...why are you not all talking crap about Lorenzo!!!!!! all I hear is ohhh he likes to check out at the that it???? really??? maybe you should all shut up!! I said it before and will again....write off Lorenzo at your own risk!!! he scored the most points at the end of last year! and many on here also realized that 2013 "should" have been his year, safe for the collar bone injury..he had the most wins and look what he did in Valencia 2013!!!! Talk about race control.... I am a Rossi fan through and through...I want and hope for a 10th title from him...but Lorenzo is the real deal!!!

MotoGP » ‘Over the limit’ Marquez talks Mugello misery

MM is going nowhere...he is a MotoGP great and that is a done deal! Honda and MM have a bright future and the story is not over in 2015... hell the story is not over period for 2015....if this was race 14 of 18 I would concede that he is done but 6 races still early...MM will be a factor come later in the year...if not next race as he and Honda wrap their heads around this issue... PS where are the Honda conspirators??? What is the story this reverse psychology from Honda to lure the other manufacturers in a false sense of superiority by losing? to show how much they control MotoGP?? LOL... Yea I am sure this was part of their plans in their ultimate scheme to control MotoGP?? much like 2004-2012 when they only won 2 world titles..... Honda must be the worst communist leaders in the world!!! where they lose more titles than they win against their competitors in a "rigged series"

MotoGP » Rossi: Lorenzo's form is bad news for me

aaron2112: The answer to his problem is QUALIFY BETTER!!!!! We all know he and his bike can do it..... he just need to put a little more effort into it......
Easier said than done....the time is not enough...Rossi is doing a larger percent of his work on race pace during the weekend...if he stops focusing on that then you may be right, his qualifying would improve but his race performance may suffer... racers know it is Sunday that counts... and this new 15 minute format has really been a weakness for Vale. If Rossi has another weekend like Argentina 2015 or Misano 2014..maybe he can throttle back on race pace work and focus on qualifying but he is rarely that dominant where he can neglect any race pace I do not know what he has to do but he and his team need to figure it out or it will be extremely difficult keeping Lorenzo in arrears....

MotoGP » Rejuvenated Lorenzo 'feeling strong' for Mugello

I want VR for the win but I would be a fool to write off Lorenzo or MM for that matter. Truthfully, I would not be surprised if Dovi surprised everyone else.... I expect Pedro will need a couple more rounds to get up to top step condition but he could throw one in the ring...that would shut the whole lot of us but I am realistic... VR for the win...but just want a terrific race with a big battle for the win!!
