BSB » Milwaukee Yamaha unveil all-new R1

I agree it has a transformers look to the front but it took me all of no time to tell it was a major improvement on the last 6 years...Sorry but I could not stand the front intakes on the last generation from 2009-2014 models and the lights made it look like a cross-eyed bug...lol I am liking this more and more and in race trim it looks dang good...prior to 2009 (whenever the now old-shape was built) I always wanted a Yamaha but not for the last 6 years...although I love Yamahas particularly the R6.... anyway I had defected my thought to getting a BMW but I am back on the wagon again!! Good stuff from SMR and Yamaha.. cannot wait on a WSBK return full time!!!

MotoGP » Redding: My aim is to beat Crutchlow

Stonapersona...not sure what you are smoking but Redding may well be happy if you hand him top 10 in standings now to walk away..beat Cal?? lol he needs to focus on not finishing 14th on a better kit than what Bautista had!!!.. tell me when was Marquez below top 6 in in practice or qualy in his rookie year....and Redding is wrestling with 17th???????????????????? Bradl or Bautista never had anywhere near this horrible a preseason...just saying...even in their rookie years.. I like Redding but his first year will be a struggle mostly because he is also with a team that has ZERO experience with the Honda ...IF he was still with Gresini and Gresini was still with Honda I would say his year would look better. TBH if he was with LCR I would say the same but there are too many variables and it does not seem that Honda is giving him the same attention as, lets say, a certain Australian who came from moto3.

MotoGP » Redding: My aim is to beat Crutchlow

I think Redding will come good...eventually....but anyone who expected him (including myself) to do any kind of stomping this year is/was fooling themselves....Challenge Marquez?.....we done shot past the moon, sun and stars with expectation and he can barely get it off the ground right now... 2016 will be a better year as he and his team learns the bike but TBH, 2016 is where I expect him to challenge the bottom half of the top 6 not the top 4....2017 may be his year for something special.....IF he and his team gels with the bike...

BSB » Wraps pulled off Tyco BMW

Agreed with you about not seeing the number but it looks pretty good to me. But that also depends on what you are comparing it to...The Milwaukee Yamaha looks better IMO.....but nevertheless this is not a bad looking project. As someone said before though...I am surprised BMW gave TAS the motorrad backing vs Buildbase BMW...I mean they have the rider that was challenging for the title last year...and he is the former multiple champ so logic would say the factory support/backing goes to them. Anyway, I am sure BMW wants to see their bike on top and will support Buildbase as well. The official backing may be because of the corporate colors (not meshing with Buildbase red) and TAS is a good team so we will see....

WSBK » Sykes using past disappointments to fuel 2015 bid

He is not referring to the team orders part...he is talking about the crash in Sepang that cost him possibly 16-25 points more than enough to win the title with no changes in what actually happened in the last half of 2014.... I get it.. These dudes are all hyper-competitive and live for this job/life of racing... They would all feel and act like this...it was just worst because his relationship with Baz deteriorated even more since....and was made public etc etc...Remember too that his loss to Biaggi was also because of some half-point bulls*** given after he won a race and that was a deciding factor in the 2012 championship as Biaggi only won by 1/2 point...something that was out of his control again... TBH I am glad he is piss*d off...it will just make him more competitive and make the racing more interesting...even if I didn't like him...but I do, so Go for it TOMMY!!!! (I think I actually remember the desert he came from 4 years ago when no one thought he would have a chance in he

MotoGP » Aprilia: We didn’t see the real Marco Melandri

Matt2:
Joeski .
Wait wut? Akira is tuning company and they work with Kawasaki. Barbera has not ridden ART/Aprilia but Kawasaki and it was about Kawasaki that he made those remakrs.
Matt...sorry... absolutely correct...missed my meds...PBM and Ioda were the only Aprilias last year.... but what support did Ioda receive since most of the year Aprilia were not even sure they would enter GPs in 2015 anyway...My main point is they were not very vested in MotoGP...CRT ART or not until the decision, about mid year, to enter GP....Suzuki on the other hand has been committed to return since they left and have been doing testing since that time...2011 compared to 2004 for Aprilia...

MotoGP » Aprilia: We didn’t see the real Marco Melandri

@ Vilas46 The problem is not in Melandri's head...he knows how to ride and he can be quite fast...Romano basically alluded to it in the article....the problem is in his proverbial "heart." Melandri does not want to be in GPs, at least not with a new project that will take the better part of 2 years to be competitive. Add that to the fact that his momentum for a WSBK challenge is gone now...he just started gelling with the Aprilia and what he needed was another year in a factory team (preferably Aprilia where he has continuity) in WSBK to take a proper crack at the title. Like someone said on here...Marco should go partner Leon H in WSBK and Aprilia should have grabbed Kallio, Zarco or Salom and have Marco do some wildcards and GP testing in 2015....If he were to secured the WSBK title and Aprilia comes good in 2016 then Marco would be more ecstatic to do motoGP as a WSBK champ on a good bike...

MotoGP » Aprilia: We didn’t see the real Marco Melandri

Vilas46: TedG Has to be other Probleme in melandri head in my view... 4sure i think Aprilia should be a more competitive bike allready because unlike Suzuki Aprilia was folowing Motogp program with the ART bike and 4sure they where thinking on there return to Motogp wille Suzuki was not making any caind of race in Motogp and showup with a completly new project,
Aprilia has not been in GPs since 2004...I think, Suzuki just left 3 years ago so they have more relevant references. Aprilia supplied a "make shift SBK" CRT and we have all heard the complaints about no support because Barbera said some sub contractor worked the engine (Aiko...I believe). On top of that Suzuki has been testing and developing this prototype since they left in 2011...so I am not surprise by their position.

WSBK » Sykes using past disappointments to fuel 2015 bid

Sorry ...but when someone is on top...it seems there are a bunch of people waiting for you to fall....Tom was such an underdog and I did not remember so many people against him...now he falls out with a teammate and he is the worst thing on the planet.... Frankly...I do not care about his spackle with his teammate...the dude can ride and he paid his dues to be where he is and that is all I care about. A true diehard competitor...who obviously does not like or want to lose!! He is pissed and plans to rip up 2015 with a vengeance.....what is their not to like!!!!???? I do not give a dam what he is pissed about!!!! Keep it coming and bring that fire!!
