sunny. reading hemberys report again, yes, he is saying that all teams bar ferrari and lotus are complaining. i have staunchly defended pirelli, but the tyre that they provided for testing has been changed several times this year. and the testing tyre did not delaminate. personally, i support ferrari , so even though it appears to help them, i would have no reason to whinge! i am a bit surprised at your comment, as all sites are full of the criticism, so i doubt that all the sites are supporters of any particular team. pirelli admit that they have to change the tyre, and they would not do that if it was deemed ok. have you seen the photos of the macca tyres after the race. they are just downright DANGEROUS. a bit reminiscent of the michelin debacle. i know that you want to see racing, but surely you have to admit that this is not racing. if the hard tyre can be destroyed by a dozen laps, there is something wrong and should be rectified.

rubiks. talk about trivial posts....!!!!!! first of all, you know nothing about me, not even my full name, so you can have no idea about my knowledge, contacts or experience. i quote facts, and if you dont like them, fine, but no need to be insulting. as regards perez, in case you hadnt noticed, ferrari said that he did not have experience for ferrari and after mclaren asked them, they dropped him from their academy. it was also because mclaren were losing vodafone and neede a new sponsor, so expect to see telmex on the cars next year. you should read my column sometime, but first of all, you will have to work out who i am!!! have fun. gazza/sunny. i agree that lotus and feerrari are not complaining, but according to hembery, all the others are. gazza. hembery has clearly said that the bull is the fastest car and that the tyres are designed to hinder them. ( they didnt win on sunday BECAUSE of the tyres) and he also accepts that the wear is far too great and that they will have to change their compounds. but he does also say that pirelli had been told to make sure that there were at least three stops, and that they miscalculated. and as for tyres being dangerous? of course they are! any tyre that throws a tread is dangerous. ever been behind a lorry throwing its tread? a driver of an f1 car could be struck by a flying tread, resulting in serious injury. again, hembery has admited that there is a fault in bonding that they are trying to correct. i suggest that you read the full pirelli statement and the story on this thread.

dan. absolutely no lecture on Pirelli, just stating facts that you post seemed to disregard. I have always hated the tyre compounds as I want to see RACING. which means fastest car/driver wins, without the intervention f pit stops, kers, drs etc. but for any tyre manufacturer to provide tyres that delaminate is nothing short of criminal. the elf and safety authority should be called in, as these tyres are putting lives at risk. not just the driers, but spectators too.

daryl. so you don't like red bull? so why did you not read the story. EVERY team and driver, the fans, etc etc are complaining about the tyres daryl. no, its not th circuit, as there have been problems at other circuits too. barca has difficulties, but that is down to lack of space etc. nothing at all to do with the tyres.

I think that bianchi did his future no harm with his drive in spain. after vettel passed him in the last stint, he stuck to the rbr tail for the rest of the race. ok, I know that the tyres played a part in it, but he certainly showed quite a bit of class. a possible for red bull in 2014, or maybe a seat in str (courtesy of ferrar) for a year?? a star of the future.
