F1 » Rosberg rubbishes deliberate mistake rumours

i cannot believe the number on here who are claiming it was a deliberate act by nico. it wasnt! he had a slight issue with the rear locking slightly as the energy recovery system cam into effect. this was referred to at the time of his first trip over the chicane. and if you watch the onboards, you will see his rear tyre momentarily lock up. that reinforces that it was not deliberate. his front wheels did not lock, so it was not a case of overbraking. i suppose we will hear next that kvyat decided to practice opposite locking just to ensure that he didnt get a point? (by the way, THAT was an outstanding bit of driving!)

F1 » Vettel sixth after 'aggressive' early stop

alex. correct. but to be fair, it was not vettels tyre management that was the problem. he could not get past magnussen and was suffering, so the team rought him in early. he did almost the entire race on one set of tyres! team have made a few dodgy tyre calls for seb this year, and that was one of them. at the time of his call in, horner admitted that it was a bit of a gamble. unfortunately it didnt work.

F1 » Ricciardo: Fifth best we could do

firestorm. ricciardo did have a great race, and kudos to him. but when seb was called in for his tyres, it was to get him ahead of magnussen (which it did) but at that point, horner said it was a gamble and they were splitting strategies. vettel ran most of the race on one set of tyres and they were 11 laps older, so it was no surprise that riccardo was faster at the end. in fact, i think that ricciardo was the last to pit for tyres. and if you watch the re runs, you will see that seb pulled well over to the side to allow ricciardo to pass. and no complaints from him. but one thing about the race that puzzles me....magnussen got a penalty for the same move that lulu made at spa. the difference was that bottas actually was pushed off, whereas in spa , nico held his ground. i wonder why the different standards of the stewards?

F1 » Hamilton recovers to win after Rosberg error

nico appeared to be having braking problems with his regen unit. no sign of a lock up at front, but rear wheel had a slight lock up. this was commented on in the bbc commentary. but i did find it funny that nico was chatting away to flip in italian , to deliberately exclude lulu . and there was no friendly display from either nico or lulu. booing now appears to be the norm. both lulu and nico getting the boos, but flip getting the cheers
