F1 » Horner praises ‘great racing’ between Vettel and Alonso

oldnail. yes dr had one less pit stop (28+ secs) , and vettel was held up by alonso (who admitted that vettel was 2 secs a lap faster) and lost between 20-30 secs, and after passing alonso, he was rapidly catching button and dr. yes, dr was fortunate that yres lasted so well, but he has also said that they had gone off and he was dropping back. the race was the race and results cannot be altered, but to say that vettel was soundly beaten is just plain incorrect. but the fault lies with rbr who pitted seb at the wrong time, allowing him to be passed by alonso. but such is f1. you win some and you lose some.

F1 » Vettel criticises Alonso’s defence

champers. i am more use to kph so it was a slight slip. but it does not affect the content of my post. it is impossible to drive the car fast, placing it accurately on the road if trying to watch where the following car puts its wheels for a second or less, especially if the car is so close that you cannot even see its wheels. and to then make a comment for me to grow up? i have been there done that, got the t-shirt, and if i grow up any more, i would be in my coffin. and you also say that others are entitled to their am i not entitled to my opinion as it differs to yours? as i said, i am being factual, based on experience. if you dont like it...fine, but no need to attack, is there?

F1 » Vettel criticises Alonso’s defence

alonso was certainly a bit too robust in his defence. he had received three warnings and a black and white flag early on for exceeding the track limits. but what puzzles is me...knowing how little can be seen through the rear view mirrors, how on earth could ferdi watch every corner to see if vettel went over the limits? but what was funny was ferdi moaning about it and then clearly doing it himself immediately afterwards, continuously. did he expect the rule to apply to vettel only. however, it was great to see that the stewards decided to let them race. also ferdi moaning about vettel using drs? again, as vettel was behind him, how did he know? i think that he was being fed nfo by the team and all we heard was his response. they were goading him to react?

F1 » Hamilton: It was my mistake

kiwi. it was obvious that either lulu or nico would win. i didnt bother to get into the "one will win" argument. but to try and hit at those who were predicting a nico win, is a bit pointless. lulu did not beat him. nicos car failed whilst in the lead, and the reason that lulu was catching him over the few previous laps was that the box wasnt downshifting properly. that handicapped nicos speed. (didnt stop the commentators going ballistic though!) personally, i believe that if nico did not have that problem, it would have been unlikely that lulu would have won. but thats all part of racing!
