F1 » Red Bull issues quit threat over regulations

some people need to read the words of marko! when asked he stated that they would have to consider their position as the rules etc were counter productive to proper racing. and dont forget, when rbr / newey were bending rules, which they were allowed to do, merc and ferrari were crying to the fia and had loopholes closed many times. but now that merc have control and are ruining f1, there are no steps being taken by fia, apart from the one where fuel pressure is to be monitored more closely. f1 was shaken up by red bull, and we should be thankful for that. if they decided to leave, that is their call, and we would lose a quarter of the grid!

F1 » Massa questions if Williams is getting best Mercedes engine

rob01: Massa should be thanking the heavens he is near the front of the grid driving a Williams. And openly saying he thinks he is being shorted by merc should be cause for a reprimand by the team. Massa and Williams received far more help from Merc over McLaren and I didn't hear him popping off last year of being shorted.
rob. funny, everybody is saying it! i guess that you are still celebrating seb and ferraris good showing. two of your favourite idols on the up! pity your most favourite jumped ship.

F1 » Horner calls for engine equalisation amid Renault struggles

MrJones85: Have you guys heard the latest? Redbull is pulling a Ferrari and threatening to quit F1 because they don't like where the sport is heading. I guess they expect to win the Championship every year. What a bunch of hypocrites and babies!
not so much the latest! it was reported 9 hours ago! but what marko said was not a threat. if you read his comments, they would have to reconsider if it was commerciably viable for them to continue. red bull is a MARKETING company, and if it does not help their business to be running at the back, of course they will have to reconsider. apart from that, when rbr were winning, fia did their best to stop them!

F1 » Horner calls for engine equalisation amid Renault struggles

LoveF1: Would these forum reactions be different if Horner and Marko's words were coming directly from the mouth of Adrian Newey - who works with Horner practically every day at Red Bull? Would he also be accused of sour grapes? After all, he WAS already a part of the past successful McLaren and Williams eras of domination....
a day or so ago, newey said exactly the same. he pointed out that when he introduced innovations, merc were the very ones who went running to the fia to have them banned, but currently fia are not prepared to do anything to level the playing field.
