F1 » McLaren-Honda issues plenty but 'small'

Fullofit: Honda's last foray into F1 was pretty much a disaster.
not as an engine supplier, it wasnt! their failure was in trying to be a constructor. their engine was arguably the strongest and most powerful on the grid. and if you research their inital foray into f1, it was something similar. their engine was a jewel of enineering, but until it was put into a proper lola chassis, it had no success.

F1 » Hamilton lauds ‘special’ reliability as Mercedes goes distance

ProfessorX:
107SS2009:
beastinblack: Now he has dumped that woman he can now focus 100% on the driving. Hammy for champ!
Could also be that SHE was the one that dumped HIM. Any which way experience doesn’t show good results are to be expected.
you guys might want to invest in about 14 boxes of tissues, extra if your gonna have like minded friends over.
nutty. any chance of you actually posting in english some day soon? i honestly cannot make any sense of what you are posting!

F1 » McLaren-Honda issues plenty but 'small'

LoveF1: In that case, fullofit, Ron Dennis has made yet another one of his catastrophic decisions and should be promptly relieved of his position in the organisation - for deciding to dump the excellent Mercedes engine for the disastrous Honda engine.
not quite right. the original merc engine was a partnership with macca. when merc decided that they would field a team of their own, the partnership was automaticaly dissolved and merc honoured their contract, allowing macca to continue to receive their engines. macca then had to look around for a supplier, and honda (who had a previous agreement with macca ) wanted a partner, so the deal was understandable.

F1 » Newey: F1 regulations place too much emphasis on engines

sunny. there has been no query about the bull, as there is nothing illegal! air can be taken from below the car to the s duct as long as it does not pass through the homologated tub. most cars last year, took air through shark mouths last year. it is just that newey has found a new place to extract and divert air. inventive thinking, but nothing untoward. and remember the way macca actually took air through openings in the tub itself to feed their f duct? that was not illegal either as the tub was homologated and no extra cut outs were made. and that is what stymied the other teams.

F1 » Hamilton lauds ‘special’ reliability as Mercedes goes distance

LoveF1: lol I love these funny early season posts... richard, the Prof is saying that Hamilton's detractors should grab some extra tissues for all the crying they're going to do when he wins the WDC again. They are thinking otherwise, because they believe Hamilton will meltdown again because his pussycat has just dumped him for not marrying her :-)
oh well, he'll probably go out and buy another dog to replace his cat! last year, he credited herself as the reason why he was a better driver.

F1 » Marussia set for shock F1 return?

i maybe being a bit pedantic, but there is no such team as marussia! the team is MANOR f1, who entered with their title sponsor, marussia. their title sponsor folded entirely mid 2014 season. so i cannot forsee any possible entry from marussia, unless manor have purchased the rights to the name, which seems a bit unlikely.

F1 » Jerez - F1 test times [Tuesday final]

Sasha Alexandrovich: @richard Testing is fun for discussions in the off season. IMHO we will simply see who is where when the chequered flag drops in Melbourne. I am not a fan of any particular team or driver at the moment. I sincerely hope everyone will be a bit closer and we will see more battles.
agreed. some seem to take a persons performance as an indication of the wdc for the year. and it is funny, if lulu had been picked up by ferrari (for half the cost of seb!) then rob would have been rooting totally for ferrari! as would a lot more of the lulu fanboys. some will never accept some nationalities. it is sad, but factual. imagine.....lulu putting up best time in a ferrari, and the uk would have turned red by now! and look at rob...already claiming that (according to him) the bull is illegal!

F1 » Ricciardo upbeat despite Red Bull set-backs

rob01: Additionally it looks like newey is circumventing the rules as usual. The regs don't allow any opening under the chassis yet they can be seen after Danny knocked off the front wing.
rob. there have been openings under the nose for several years. the s duct is operated by this. but the opening is in the covering bodywork and NOT the tub. the tubs are homologated and are passed as approved.
