F1 » Wolff: Hamilton didn't ignore race engineer

Fullofit: it used to be that whenever McLaren had something to say we could pretty much guarantee it was a lie, but Mercedes AMG have definitely taken over that role in the paddock.
currently merc are giving the impression of taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut. they have to win at all costs, and they will do everything in their power to win, moral or immoral. they really have brought the sport into disrepute

F1 » Horner: Ricciardo's overtaking 'up there with the best'

richard: norville. he was stuck behing magnussen so rbr brought him in to try and give him some clean air.
Clean air? that makes no sense, with so many laps to go that would make him a sitting duck, better to have stayed in the pack and fight it out at the end....rather than let you team mate sail past again.
i wont disagree with you on that! the macca and the bull were fairly evenly matched, and i could not really see the sense in taking seb off tyres that were actually good for another 10 laps or so. but as i said, horner stated that it was a bit of a gamble. unfortunately it is not the first time this year, that rbr have made a poor strategy decision on tyres , for seb.
