F1 » F1: Ricciardo wanted respect in 2014

George Zaidan: 'bob jane' sounds like someone who can't make up their mind about who or what they are... cheerio!
george. surely you have worked out by now...bob jane (an insult to the real bob jane) is an pure aussie fanboy, who thinks that evrey aussie is so much better than anyone else, that he blinds himself to fact! funny that ferrari signed seb rather than ricciardo...but then i suppose that they know nothing, after all, they wouldnt sign the last aussie either.

F1 » F1: Rossi pushing forward 'harder than ever'

well, his ego seems to be a bit large. "i was called to drive five times..."!!! funny then how he never actually drove. and some of these "times" were when he was brandishing money around to try and stal a drive. and the others were when he was the official reserve driver, but then was not picked. as for haas f1? well either haas want to be a back of the grid "ALL" american team (ha ha ha), or they want to succeed , where they will have to employ a driver of known ability. not that it did caterham much good. still, rossi is only one of about a dozen drivers claiming to be talking about finding a non existent seat. btd. the last andretti did not make much of an impact in f1!

F1 » Red Bull has ‘real desire’ to catch Mercedes

sunny. still do not like the old definition of a turbosupercharger! to me, they are two entirely different systems... however, it is interesting to see that volvo have produced an engine which uses twin turbochargers and the system to drive these turbos by electrical power is officially called an "E-BOOSTER" as it is now off season and we are discussing engines, in the early 1900s there was a rotary engine that spun all cylinders around a fixed crankshaft. i cannot remember the name or maker, but whereas electrics probably used slip rings for ignition , how was the fuel provided to the cylinders and / or carbs?

F1 » F1: Hamilton wins Sports Personality of the Year

what with questions being raised on another thread about voting patterns, there certainly was something odd about last sundays vote on this issue. the votes were said to be still being taken prior to the live show, yet one of the sunday papers had their supplement (which was printed mid week) dedicated to lulu, bbc "sportsperson of the year"!! now, how on earth could they know that days before the poll was closed, and also have lulu sit for glamour photos? HHHHMMMMMMMMMM!

F1 » Dennis expects to promote more young F1 drivers

ifindoubtblamelewis: If LH virtually destroyed McLaren then it doesn't say much for the state of the team does it? Fact remains, RD has lost the plot, his real management skills have come out over the last two years. Managing a team that is winning is easy, it becomes a little harder when they are struggling. His handling of Whitmarsh, Button, Spygate were shameful. Rehiring Alonso desperate and ditching Mercedes a mistake. We wont see McLaren at the sharp end of the grid for some years to come unfortunately.
RGT. keep up! since spygate, ron has not been managing the team!
