F1 » Hamilton's second F1 title: A long time coming

rob01: Vettel first defending champ since Jacques Villeneve to not get a win while defending a WDC. Probably appropriate as they seem like similar drivers.
well...he was defending champion in 2011 and won a few races. then he was the defending champion in 2012 and won a few more races, and then in 2013 he was again the defending champion and again won a few races..... he had to let a few others have a chance, and he couldnt go on for ever though could he?. oh by the way i didnt see your idol winning a race this year. and he was, repeat was, a champion

F1 » Ferrari appoints new F1 team principal

rob01: Fernando said he was presented the car plans for 2015 and it was the same thing as the previous 4 plans. He saw no differences. This after being convinced that the wind tunnel was the root of all their evils.
rob. you are really falling behind! ferdi had told ferrari several months ago that he was leaving. since then, ferrari has gone under drastic change. glad to see sunny is keeping up to date! now, do you really think that ferrari would tell ferdi all their secrets for 2015. and do you really think that ferdi would know what the under the skin difference would be? and do you think that he would know what differences there would be to the engine, bearing in mind that even now, nobody knows. and then there is your comment that ferdi thinks that the wind tunnel is the problem? did he tell you that in one of his personal tweets to you? the problem is the engine!

F1 » Ferrari appoints new F1 team principal

benignlyindifferent: Richard, I understand but why the complete divorce from Ferrari? Can you provide an insight? I would have thought he would have returned to another role within the organization.
simple! marchionne is ceo of fiat chrysler who currently OWN ferrari. ferrari are buying out of fiat control and are floating on the stock exchange. marchionne will then have little or no control over ferrari, so ferrari are being allowed to put their own choices in charge. you could well find that mattiacci will be moved within the fiat chrysler organisation. there is a huge commercial undertaking in the floating of ferrari and they are paying fiat something like 1.5bn to become independent. when these moves started up 6-8 months ago, i said that we would see further changes before the end of the year. and the likelihood of brawn being drafted in , is very high. complete re-organisation!

F1 » Lauda: Rosberg will fight back

FatAlfie: Do you really think that LH was 'allowed' to win this year? (not trying to cause an argument - just curious) And that next year NR will be the chosen one? I, personally, think that it could have gone either way this year, between the two of them - there was no 'grand plan'. If Merc have a similar engine advantage next year then we could just as easily see LH crowned again, as NR.
probably not, but i think that it was made easier for him to win.

F1 » Lauda: Rosberg will fight back

taz. read between the lines. notice that niki said that "nico will once again be the match of lulu". so niki agrees with what a lot of us have been saying.........lulu and nico are evenly matched! (fangirls wont like that!) anyway, if merc still have an advantage next year, nico will be the one who is allowed to win!
