F1 » Horner praises ‘great racing’ between Vettel and Alonso

kiwi. had to look back at what corkey said, that makes you think i am sulking. but why would i? when lulu goes backwards, it is normally in the race and when he is on identical strategies as those around him! seb went backwards due to poor team strategy that saw him released in a position where he did not have a space to pull away from ferdi. the figures all show that had that not happened, then seb would have been second. it was a foul up by rbr, and not their first this year. but vettel did not go backwards from actual racing. as for his start, have a look again, yes he was slow off the line, but he was also squeezed wide, just as others were too

mustafur. forget your idolising and hates. analyse the actual race and look at lap times, PLEASE. vettel was catching button and dr at 2 secs a lap, and had he got clear of alonso sooner he would have caught both. and had he not been held up at all by alonso he would have caught bottas. but he had no chance of catching lulu who was cruising. yes, it is all "wot ifs" but those who are making incorrect comments about the actual pace of vettel, really need to look at the actual performance of the the various cars and drivers

F1 » McLaren surprised by FRIC ban

rob. the lotus system was not interconnection. it was based on braking causing the nose to rise, so as to maintain the stance on the track. operation was via the floating brake calipers, hence the comments that it was a "movable aero device). it was banned before it debuted. and rightly so. it had an effect on aero. i was surprised when merc introduced it as i considered that it too affected aero, and we discussed that at the time. but is peculiar that it has taken fia so long to realise that it indeed does affect aero. good to know that they listen to me! :) forgot to add....i just cannot understand why they have suddenly decided , mid season, that it is illegal.

F1 » Hamilton: Germany not Rosberg’s home race

some people wonder why others make fun of lulu. perhaps if he engaged his brain before opening his mouth to reply to a question (no matter how inane), people would respect him more. he reminds me of the type of comedian who starts to tell a joke, rolls around laughing before he has finished, not realising that the joke is not humourous, and nobody else is laughing, apart from the odd chuckle of embarrassment

F1 » Bianchi replaces Raikkonen at Ferrari for test

wow. seems to be a bit of hate going on around kimi now! there was nothing wrong with kimi rejoining the track as he was coming back on a very narrow angle, with adequate room. the problem was that his car hit a drainage gulley and was thrown in the air. after that, he was just a passenger. it was unfortunate, but if anyone thinks that it was deliberate and merited a penalty, they need their head examined. back to topic. it is good to see bianchi getting aferari test, but unfortunately the car is so poor, that it will be hard to really judge him.
