F1 » Melbourne strengthens McLaren sponsor talks

aldo, aldo, your love has no bounds!. lulu " should have been " etc. but the fact is he WASN'T. can you not get your head around that. 2007. made a silly rookie error, didn't deserve a title 2008. best driver ? massa was the best! 2010 unlucky to lose? no, vettel won and lulu was not even runner up. what was he ? 4 or 5 in the wdc? so there were several more drivers who were better than him. you really need to get over your obsession for him! its unhealthy! debate is great, but pointless and inaccurate posts ruin debate

F1 » Red Bull to appeal Ricciardo exclusion

ty. like you, I am sitting on the fence. I can see both sides of the debate. but that has to be remembered is that it was a STEWARDS decision in Melbourne, and not an fia decision. rbr are appealing so that the fia are forced into a final decision. if rbr can PROVE that their flow never exceeded the limit, then the fia could have egg on their face for providing defective equipment that caused a team to be compromised

F1 » Red Bull to appeal Ricciardo exclusion

morgan. possibly, but that is not why dr was dsq. he was dsq for exceeding the fuel flow (irrespective of where the info came from) he was not dsq because rbr used their own sensor. BIG difference. but I remain puzzled as the stewards say that rbr replaced the fia sensor with one of their own. so if the fia sensor was removed, how could the stewards ascertain what the fuel flow was?

F1 » Horner sure deficit is solely engine

googol. you still don't get it, do you? it is the ENGINE restrictions that are handicapping at the moment, NOT the car! but if it is proven that drs car did not exceed the fuel flow limit, as laid down in the rules, then it certainly is on a par. but most team owners will say that their car is x secs off the pace. its part of the hype. remember merc last year? claiming they were 2 secs off pace, when they clearly were not. Ferrari are currently saying they are off the pace, yet they performed reasonably well in Melbourne despite the electrical problems.
