F1 » Wolff calls for ‘transparency’ at Mercedes

taz and ty. i didnt hear the transmissions yesterday, but i recorded it. yes, i was shocked to hear lulu being given details of nicos car settings. mein gott! these are supposed to be racing drivers, and they have to be told what settings etc are on their teammates car??? there should be a ban on such info being given to any driver. it is up to them to manage their car themselves. who is to say that providing such info is not giving a driver an advantage?

F1 » Horner slams Renault failings

benignly. read my comment. money is no object to red bull. to buy the cossie set up would not cost too much as the owners have been trying to off load it for a while. or to get someone like rotax to engineer a new pu, would not be too difficult either, as rotax have both engine and turbo expertise. dont forget, merc bought in their engine supplier. if renault cannot provide a pu that works, then rbr HAVE to look elsewhere. no point in the ferrari engine, and they have stated that they will not use the merc engine. and infiniti are hardly likely to want to use a honda engine, although they could drop the infiniti sponsorship quite easily.

F1 » Horner slams Renault failings

sunny. presumably you are referring to h16? the v16 was in the 50s. the h16 was in the 60s, but helmut was in the 70s. so it was a v12 . still, a beautiful sound as for an rbr engine? not too far fetched. rbr could buy cossie engine and rebrand it. it is ready and waiting. but they also have access to rotax, and you should know of their illustrious history

F1 » Hamilton: Frustrating to lose time in stops

walrus. no, its not too narrow. plenty of places to pass. the problem is its shortness. by the way, it actually IS a tilke track, but one that was based on an existing site. originally the racing was held at the zeltweg airport. all credit to mateschitz who spent over 200m€ of his own cash, to update it. one problem though is rain. even though it was forecast yesterday, it didnt arrive, but in mid europe, with mountains around it, the weather can be a bit unpredictable.
