2pac. the wheelbase will be longer, the bodywork will be longer, there will be no double diffusers. all these will drastically affect aero, therefore it will be back to basics again. i remember your multi posts of old, and your input on kers, which was way, way off the scale of fact. but we'll forget that. andrew, i am miffed that you are claiming credit for my champagne kers!

2pac. the cars will be considerably different next year, due to bigger tanks, different weight distribution etc etc. testing is starting again and all teams will be testing NEW cars. i dont think that anyone will have an advantage or a disadvantage, but maybe the ones who were in the design phase earlier, such as ferrari, may have a slight head start.(like honda last year!)

most sportsmen give the cars away to others in the team or to charity. rossi gives his bmws to his mechanics. as we dont know what vettel is doing, we cannot criticise him! if he wants to keep it for himself, he is perfectly entitled to. he won it!

smokin jo. wtcc had the makings of a great series, of particular reference to road cars. but as you say, the skullduggery of seat in particular, is bringing the sport into disrepute. unfortunately bmw have joined their trickery. there are supposed to be NO team orders, yet monteiro, (forecast by the commentators) suddenly backed off on the last lap of first race, and then to make it look less obvious, let a few more cars through. i wonder why there was no sanction against seat for that most obvious race fix. i guess i will still follow it, but it stinks. thank goodness etcc is expanding next year!
