F1 » Ricciardo wins after Mercedes pair clash

sunny. remember a few years back, when lulu had a penchant for diving inside massa and ramming him when he had little or no overlap? and all the fanboys were on here claiming that massa was at fault for not leaving room for lulu to pass. where are they now? i dont hear them shouting that lulu should have given room for nico to pass! lulu MUST have seen nico, and instead decided to try and run him off the track, something that he has already done several times this year. nico decided not to play ball.

F1 » Rosberg beats Hamilton to pole at wet Spa

tunde, and how on earth do you KNOW that lulu would definetly have gotten pole apart from the "problems" you list? spa. glazed brakes were a lulu fault. nico managed his monaco. lulu was down on nico anyway. and before his escape road, nico was fastest. etc etc. wot ifs do not count, only the end result! steveo. vettel also had an off on his fastest lap! apart from that, it was shown that going wide where dr did, was actually beneficial to a lap time! that was commented on in the sky report, when they were querying why no penalties were being given for leaving the track.

F1 » Rosberg booed on Spa podium

we seem to be getting the soccer lout syndrome in f1. as others said, it was a racing accident and was only a slight touch. but because lulu was the one who suffered most, partly through his own fault in driving back to the pits at too high a speed, his touring fanboys need someone to blame. so they show their prejudices by booing a driver who actually had a good race. have a look at alonsos bang into the back of vettels bull. far heavier bang which heavily damaged ferdis front wing, but no puncture for vettel. this sort of clash is not uncommon in current f1, and rarely does anyone complain about it. what is worse is lulu moaning about retiring, and then merc making up an excuse to retire him just before the end, so that they have a "legitimate" reason to change gearbox or pu!

StevoG: I cannot understand why he doesn't race as a Finn like his father did? Why is he German?
for your info, nicos mother is german. nico was born in germany. that makes him german. but due to his fathers nationality, he is also entitled to a finnish passport as well. but why do you think that he should denounce his german heritage?

F1 » Chilton unhappy with rumours

jackbee. you are really having a go at me! so why not add in all the others who have the same opinion? we cannot all be wrong. and i too support the underdog, PROVIDED they have a reason for support. marussia is an underdog team, and since last year, i have strongly supported the team and bianchi, because jules shows that he DESERVES support, despite being an underdog. when you start ahead of your team mate, and then get passed by him and even lapped by him, you certainly do not deserve support.. i will say it again, and whether you agree or not....m4xie does NOT deserve a seat on the grid! far better drivers have been dropped from the grids in the recent past.

i dont think that either lulu or nico were to blame, but if there is blame, then they were equally at fault. nico made what would have been a legitimate move later in the race. his front wheel was level with lulus cockpit. nico could have backed off, and/or lulu could have allowed a bit more room. so 50/50. unfortunately the commentators immediately claiming it was nicos fault. ho hum. and then lulu wanting to give up on every lap??? ricciardo drove a good race and took advantage of the events, so fair play to him. alonso and magnussen really deserved numerous penalties for their behaviour

F1 » Chilton unhappy with rumours

jackbee. if vettel performed like chilton, i would also say he was a waste of space. f1 should be about the BEST drivers, and a driver should EARN their drive. not be on the grid due to their parent having the biggest purse. maldo brought money, it is true, but he at least has a race win and some good results, yet a lot of people say he should not be wasting a car. i am not waging a campaign over m4xie, but he has done nothing to earn my respect, or the respect of most of the posters on all f1 sites. the same comments are found everywhere. but the british media are the only ones who believe that he has any f1 talent. jingoism...
