I think that the fact that these quotes came from 'The Sun' newspaper(?) says it all really. Who believes anything they read in there?

(Sorry you lot obviously do)

Sorrry Barry, I knew what I meant..... What I meant to say is that if 1 or 2 banks of lights short circuit and go off during the race what will they do? bring out the safety car--- at least thats got lights Lol

@TooGood2Tell Those were the days!!! I tried the American races but got bored with the ovals Some of the street races were great though. Haven't seen any A1GP yet (not a lot on the TV and I can't get to the circuits too often) But I'll give it a try..... I find the lower formulae (Formula Renault etc) better - all in the same spec car its down to the driver like it should be. :D BTCC is a lot better Cars overtaking and being driven to their ultimate limit (sometimes over their limit)Not as fast as F1 but more exciting and more interesting.

What will they do if a generator blows and part of the track is left in darkness?

Apologies to all, I suppose it's possible tha the 'traffic light' system is connected to the car, meaning the fuel rig hasn't been modified (maybe)

If the green light is connected to the fuel rig, how have Ferrari manged this without altering the rig itself? Shirley modifying the rig is against the regulations if you're McLaren, BMW, Williams etc etc. Whoops.... sorry should have remembered the colour of the car.

And we all say how boring it is, how it's a waste of time watching, then we all go and watch it so we can make our comments later saying how predictable it was. I started watching F1 in the days of Senna, Prost, Mansell, Patrese et al. Great racing, wheel to wheel, drivers not afraid to TRY to pass instead of just hoping they can be 1/2 a second quicker in the pit stops (or if they do try, getting a penalty because they happened to pass someone) Turbo chargers and ground skirts, What's happened to it all?
