I think that the fact that these quotes came from 'The Sun' newspaper(?) says it all really. Who believes anything they read in there?
(Sorry you lot obviously do)

LOL... no I won''t. I''d probably get stopped by a police officer from the FIA and fined. But enough of the banter. I see even you didn''t disagree with my last post.

Hi Sunny. No, he gave me some tablets and said if I still agreeing with you in a week I should go back and see him again.

All the best F1 drivers have a degree of arrogance, Schumacher, Senna, Prost and now Hamilton. They ALL need to feel and show they ARE better than the rest. Without it you get nowhere. I also noticed in the story (not attributed to anyone I see) "– as it is reported that some drivers are still unhappy about the clarity of the situation." So all the drivers KNOW and AGREE that Lewis was wrong and dserved the penalty even though THEY still don''t understand the rule themselves.... what else can I say... stupidity and ignorance at it''s best

FIA: Hamilton, Liuzzi cases totally different.
2 agree.

@ sick of the moaners. There was no appeal in France because LH did not give the place back.... at Spa he did.....Spot the difference now?

FIA throws out Hamilton F1 Spa appeal.
5 agree.
Speaking purely for myself. My main concerns are: 1) Why did it take 2 hours for the stewards to confirm the penalty? - If the incident had happened on the first lap the race would have ended before they had made a decision. 2) IF the stewards etc are happy with the 2 hour delay, why has it not occurred before? and will it occur again. 3) Why did the FIA hear the evidence BEFORE deciding that the appeal was inadmissible. 4) Why should it be accepted that the stewards cannot make a mistake? they have in the past. ALL appeals should be heard if only to maintain a resemblance of impartiality.

Sunny, I must see a doctor, That is probably the most coherent post I have seen from you for a long time. And I NEARLY agree with you. 1) you're right the rules have been changed 2) will argue with you about 5 laps from the end, most drive throughs are notified within 2 laps, with the 3 laps allowed to serve the penalty that would JUST leave enough time to serve the penalty. 3) you're right - But why can't it be 4) again I will agree 5) Is the same as 3 6) Again I agree. All above is according to the rules.

Lewis to keep on 'racing' despite FIA ruling.

Quentin, It's always meant that, it's only in recent years that Max and his cronies have been making it so blatantly obvious

Does this mean that (for the sake of consistency) All complaints regarding infringements that incur a drive through penalty will take 2 hours to be decided?

@ Jose Maria Ribeiro. 1- 10 years ago LH would probably have been sacked for giving the place back.... but they were allowed to race in those days. 2- It is not so much the decision, it is more that McLaren are not allowed to QUESTION (appeal) the decision that is the problem for most of us. 3- I'll grant you that one.
