I think that the fact that these quotes came from 'The Sun' newspaper(?) says it all really. Who believes anything they read in there?

(Sorry you lot obviously do)

@Barry, Agree 100% all a big fix to draw in the crowds. Rich ard. The appeal was NOT (and was never going to be) heard therefore the FIA could throw out as many submissions as they wanted without affecting the outcome. And SUNNY to quote you: "but like I say,the blind are those that do not want to see, and the deaf are those that do not want to hear" I agree 100%, and if some of you Ferrariphiles would open your eyes and ears you may find out why so many other people believe there is a bias in Ferraris favour.

@ nolonger a Ferrari fan. I wasn''t going to post on this anymore but fingers got itchy.... A big hint into why STRs appeal in Japan last year was heard, comes in the name of the team SCUDERIA Torro Rosso.. Ferrari engines!!!

Only one more question/ comment. Does this mean we can expect the stewards to take 2 hours to deliberate EVERY infringement rhat may lead to a ''drive-through'' penalty? or is Max gonna leave his phone switched on now?

F1nit.... It won''t matter what they decide the ''debate'' will carry on. IF the decision is reversed McLaren supporters will say it only proves that MM and his cronies have realised that there are limits to how far, even they, can ''bend-the-rules'' and IF the penalty stands McLaren supporters will say that it proves how corrupt the FIA is.

SUNNY, I appreciate from reading your posts that English is probably NOT your first language, therefore I can forgive your grammar and spelling. BUT may I humbly suggest that you take READING lessons in English so that you can better comprehend what is actually being said, before making gratuitous abusive remarks to persons posting.

Sunny, Although I hate to do it, I will rise to your comment (again) and make a vain attempt to have a sensible discussion with you (and ignore your obvious dislike of me personally). As stated on a different thread I do not count myself as an expert on F1 (and I bow to your greater knowledge which, as you inform everyone who disagrees with you, you have.) I made no comment about "doing away with the race stewards", most of whom do a good job in difficult circumstances, I only questioned the reason that the investigation was carried out if no complaint was made.

Darren, You could be right (though I doubt it) If only to try to prove that there is no favouritism. Paul, To extrapolate your chaos theory further you could probably reach a logical conclusion that Kimi fell off the track because he started 4th on the grid LOL.... but that really is taking chaos theory too far

@ Karga. whether you believe that the FIA favour Ferrari or not is immaterial. the appeal has to be heard to clarify the ruling AND the rule. According to McLaren the pass was acceptable to Charlie Whiting and the race directors. IF no-one complained from them and Ferrari claim they did not protest why was it investigated? We ALL know the outcome will be that the penalty will be upheld probably with a further fine, but at least the teams will ALL know what they can protest about.
