I think that the fact that these quotes came from 'The Sun' newspaper(?) says it all really. Who believes anything they read in there?

(Sorry you lot obviously do)

@Rob Teams are run by MONEY..... MOST (Note capitals) of the drivers while they are in the lower formulae are after the BIG drive, when they get it they do not want to risk themselves by 50/50 overtakes, the same moves they made to get noticed in the first place. strategy dictates that they go round and round, but I suggest that BOTH Ferraris, Both McLarens, in fact both cars in ALL teams have the same 'optimum' speed, the rest is down to the driver

@Ferret. IMHO Lewis IS the best driver with the best car THIS YEAR, Last year he could have been, Next year who knows?..... I HOPE there will be 4 or 5 drivers challenging for the WDC next year, a bit of interest, back to the good old days of Senna and Prost etc. Agreed Lewis needs to make the most of it. we've all seen it too many times before World champions for one year, maybe two before they sink into, if not obscurity, at least mediocrity in the following years, (Villeneuve, Hill and even Alonso)

@Ferret. Having a bit of a problem understanding your post. "He is talking like he is only driver in Formula one who is a champion (wanna be). If only BMW had a faster car,[if]Fernando Alonso had a competetive car he would be up there and as for Kim he has gone off the boil for whatever reason" And if pigs could fly I'd need a bigger umbrella....According to your post Lewis IS the only championship contender - BMW's out of it, Alonso's not competitive and Kimis 'off the boil'

@Wims It's in the questions that are asked and the way the answers are printed: Q) In the light of what happened in Spa do you think that if you lost the championship by 1 point you would have been cheated out of your WDC? A) If I lost the championship by 1 point of course I would feel cheated, I think I won that race fairly, the stewards disagreed I can't argue with them. In print 'HAMILTON SAYS HE WOULD BE CHEATED OUT OF HIS WIN' It is what he said but the context is wrong.

Rich ard. All I was trying to say was that MOST of the BIG names (those at the front of the grid) have reached a point where they are happy to go round and round in circles for a couple of hours and get paid. Lewis TRIES to pass people, Lewis still has the enthusiasm within him to take a 50/50 chance unlike the Kimi's and Felipes of this world

Sorry, My mistake. What I meant was that the ''Morally Deserves'' quote came from the Sun, the rest is just a mish-mash of quotes, probably taken out of context. Probably just put together by Crash.net specifically to lower the level of debate and comment on these pages and again to cause a ''Hamilton versus the rest'' spike in the number of ''hits''. Keeps their advertisers happy.

To all, Lewis is a Formula 1 RACING driver. MOST of the rest are Formula 1 DRIVERS. Lewis is one of the 'old school' who is not there just to take the pay check at the end of the week, he actually wants to WIN races, unlike MOST of the 'big' names. Kimi is brilliant, when he wants to be, - fastest laps prove it. Felipe I think has reached his limit - he does the best he is capable of. Fernando does the best he can with the equipment he has got. But NONE of them are RACERS... they WILL pass providing they know there is a 100%chance of passing. Lewis takes the 50-50 chances.... like Senna, Like Schumi, Like Mansell, Like Prost etc.
