RECOMMENDED COMMENT
12 agree.
Daniel, this is the first Newey designed Red Bull. Give it some time and they will be front runners. Webber did well today considering he had to pit earlier than expected and had an air pump problem. I didn't see Webber making as many mistakes as Massa and Hamilton. Put Mark in either of those cars and he would have nailed them yesterday.

Huge traffic increase for
Crash.net
.
2 agree.
Crash.net is great but it really needs to remove those annoying popups. We are interested in motor racing, not gambling. If we want to go to a Casino site, we know how to use Google. It makes this site look cheap and its an insult to its readers. At least remove it for the people who care enough to register.

Barrichello Indy-pendent in 2009?
3 agree.
What happened to the days where old F1 drivers were still considered competitive race drivers? Remember when Mansell was called into Williams in '94 after retiring from F1? He was still a race winner. Too bad his career ended like it did with the disasterous McLaren of 1995.

Ferrari closing door on Alonso?
1 agrees.
"There are some teams - Williams, Toyota, BMW and Ferrari - that are always on top, no matter what...." What the f__k is alonso smoking? Williams haven't won a race in god knows how long and even though they started well this year, they don't seem to be building on that. Toyota have never been much more than a grid filler aside from a few good efforts by Trulli. BMW and Ferrari are the only two teams he listed with any promise at the moment. Red Bull would be a better option than both Toyota and Williams in my opinion but I think it will be Webber and Vettel there next year.

DC: Don't make me out to be 'crasher'.
2 agree.
Agreed Digger. Damon Hill in the Jordan was spectacular. The Arrows drive at the Hungaroring was one of the best drives I have ever seen. It is one of my favourite races. Up their with Jean Alesi's only win in Canada back in '95 and Webbers Melbourne debut in 2001. I think Damon Hill was underrated if anything.

Aguri keeping the faith.
2 agree.
Oh and Xander Bingo, that sounds way to familiar with that shambolic Mastercard Lola entry of 1997. Don't think that will work. I think the Panoz suggestion is a good one, but there is no way Ford will take part in F1 again. Cosworth maybe, but not Ford.

Aguri keeping the faith.

This is one of the few times I will agree with Rich ard. Racing will only put the team into more debt. Don't get me wrong, I would like to see them race, but I don't think its the best choice for the team at the moment.

Blundell's view: Spanish Grand Prix.

1 disagrees.
You are all wrong with your predictions. It will rain and Mark Webber will put the rest of the field to shame.

Porsche adds Mosley to reasons not to enter.
5 agree.
The problem with Porsche is that they seem to be afraid to compete in a series unless they can dominate it. Instead they will stick to their Carrera Cup one make series that gets their brand exposure. Unfortunately. this series pales significantly to others such as the V8 Supercars. I think if you want to be a significant supercar brand, then you should expect to invest money in top flight racing series to really get that credibility. I'd like to see Lotus, Aston Martin and Lamborghini enter F1. Not all the money is wasted, look at the road cars Ferrari has developed over the last 10 years with similar concepts.

How about Eddie Jordan or Paul Stoddart buys them out? Thats what I'd like to see.
