Daniel, this is the first Newey designed Red Bull. Give it some time and they will be front runners. Webber did well today considering he had to pit earlier than expected and had an air pump problem. I didn't see Webber making as many mistakes as Massa and Hamilton. Put Mark in either of those cars and he would have nailed them yesterday.

How did Webber get his ass kicked by Heidfeld and Couthard? He has consistantly been better than all his team mates, especially qualifying, but unfortunately has had reliability problems. Webber beat Coulthard on the weekend despite having to run heavy due to an air pump issue. He was also a lot more impressive than young gun Nico Rosberg and Pizzonia. What Webber said was not a whinge, it was obvious that he was held up after his stop, I saw it with my own eyes. What is wrong with saying so?

Coulthard would be good for BBC but I think he has better chances of getting some sort of advisory role in Red Bull. He is pretty well respected there even if he hasn't had the best track performance of late. I thought the commentary by Brundle and co was particularly sub-par on Sunday. All I was hearing were excuses on behalf of Hamilton and how "he should be in third place". Bull****. They even went as far as saying "Thank God!" after Lewis jumped Webber in the second pit stop. Sure Hamilton is good, but ITV don't have to let me know every 2 minutes.

Some people might like to claim that Webber held up Hamilton and Alonso but the truth is that whenever either driver got close, they would lock a brake or overstress their tyres and fall back. Alonso in particular was unable to chase him down towards the end. Webber was consistent and drove well under pressure. The car was slow in a straight line but great through the slower corners.

Title is a bit misleading. I don''t see where Webber wished for a wild race.

I think it is fair to penalise drivers for blocking the racing line but this is a bit over the top. Watching the video on YouTube (search for "Heidfeld disturbed by McLaren's drivers in Malaysia"), there wasn't much in it. I definately do not believe it was intentional. It doesn't look like Heidfeld had to back off at all and wouldn't have had much effect on his lap time. Having two fired up McLaren drivers behind Webber is hardly going to improve his chances of making it past the first corner.

I'd like to see a reply from the person who disagreed with my comments about Toyota and Red Bull having had a good qualifying session. You think it was a poor effort? I'm not a fan of the Toyota team by any stretch of the meaning. They pour more money than most teams into F1 and have made little improvement over about 10 years, they also make some of the most boring road cars in the world, but the effort from their drivers today was outstanding and deserves to be recognised.

True to a point. I think Stoddart was aware of Minardi's history and changing the name wouldn't be beneficial in any way, especially for its fans. I think Stoddart and Berger would represent Minardi well. They are both have been major supporters of privateer teams. Since the team are operating out of the old Minardi base then I think that is enough reason to use the Minardi name. Bring back Cosworth or Peugeot as an engine supplier and you could have a great traditional privateer team. Unfortunately that dream is getting further away from reality.

Good effort by both Toyotas to get into the top ten, especially Trulli. Fantastic drive. I''m sure Webber will also be very pleased to outqualify his team mate yet again as well as make the top 10.
