MotoGP » Pirro stands in for injured Petrucci at Pramac

Codger: Seems fair to me. A local hotshot as a wildcard in his home race is fully understandable and welcome. A retired World Champion ? Maybe not. Any one interested in the Ducati Winglets checkout this :- visordown.com/snippets/sheene-the-crowd-were-pigs/8181.html Sorry the attached story is bit off but the Photo is the best that I could find. Note the date 1977......nothing new under the sun it seems.
Local wildcard is better. stoner excellent racer but I really don't think he wants to race at the moment. If he said he did Ducati would make it happen. Like the info on Barry.

WSBK » Haslam: IodaRacing won't replicate Aprilia results

Really! anyone who thinks that a factory team will sign for a rider for thousands of pounds who can't win a championship is talking crap. Even when working for a world endurance team we got hold of riders who could win championships, Glen Richards, Didier van Keymeulen, Steve platter etc! at BSB level as a one off we still employed a rider called Guy Martin, at TT level for a one off ride they employed a rider call Michael Dunlop. YOU employ people who can win!
