Rus the Bus,

Dennis has confirmed that the team ADVISED LH OF THE RED LIGHT.

He SHOULD have seen the light.
He SHOULD have seen TWO large-as-life F1 cars stopped at the end of the lane.
He SHOULD have listened when his team told him the light was red.
and...
He SHOULD have offered a genuine apology the way KR did to Sutil in Monaco.

But I guess if you call it the way it is on this board, you get accused of being a hater.

"I fundamentally disagree with the fact that it is immoral. I think it is a perfectly harmless activity." Really?? Cheating on your wife with prostitutes isn''t immoral? "[These activities] are, I think, completely out of the scope of my work [as the head of the FIA] and have no connection to it whatsoever." You sick f{}ck....being the head of an organization like the FIA is as much about character as it is about capability. I also think it''s the ultimate irony that he thinks its really the media that has acted unethically. This fool has lost his fragile grip on reality, and his continuing tenure is testament to the sorry state of affairs in F1 management today.

Really, really bad call from Ferrari. Kimi was substantially faster than Lewis before pitting, and I'm pretty sure Mclaren short-fuelled Lewis when the saw Kimi complete his stop. So, if Ferrari had changed Kimi's tyres, then things would have been equal between him and Lewis, and I'm pretty sure he would have gotten Lewis within a few laps, or at least leap-frogged him at the next pitstop. Ferrari are missing Brawn and Todt, and I don't think Domenicalli has the tactical and strategic experience needed yet. This was a very ill-advised call, and could potentially have been a lot worse for Raikkonen than the eventual 4th place.

Errorxp, it's not always the most deserving or talented driver who wins the c'ship. Massa has also been incredibly lucky thus far... KR didn't have his wheels fitted in time for monaco, got taken out by LH in Canada, and had the exhaust problem in France. All these incidents compromised his points, and a lot of those points went to Massa. Almost all of Massa's poor scores have been his own doing - the first two DNFs, and now his abyssmal performance in the UK.

Massa had more spins than a washing machine on a rinse cycle today. Ive said it before and I'll say it again - he can drive a fast car from the head of the field on a medium-fast or Tilke circuit, and that's about it. Take him to Spa, or Silverstone, and he's completely clueless unless he's got a HUGE car advantage. When it comes to taking a sub-par car up from the midfield or going wheel-to-wheel with a rival in equally good machinery, he's completely devoid of talent.

F1rules, it seems we have similar points of view. With one minor difference. I don't think it's just the pressure that causes LH to shoot his mouth off every opp he gets. LH is a diva and a primadonna, plain and simple. The adulation he received in '07 has gone to his head, and he thinks he's God's gift to F1. He's still in a 'honeymoon' period, but time is running out fast for him. If he doesn't win this year, he runs the risk of being labeled as Button's heir by the fickle press and fans alike. BUT... I still maintain he's very talented, and in time, if he keeps his head he will get his WDC.

Lewis 'The Mouth' Hamilton's back again. I've defended him time and again on this forum against some of the flak, but he REALLY needs to shut up. The guy has an overinflated ego coupled with verbal diarrhea, and it's getting him absolutely nowhere. One of the reasons Mika is one of the most respected drivers in F1 is because he let his driving do the talking. Hamilton really needs to take note. He's on a fastrack to becoming F1's David Beckham.

Oh good grief. The half-wit is back, and flapping his mouth for all he's worth. Stewart's nothing but a publicity hound - all he seems to go on and on (and on) about is Spygate, Mosley, and Hamilton. Anyone notice a trend here? The idiot has nothing constructive or intelligent to say, has nothing to do with F1 anymore, and should just go gracefully into the sunset.

Grumpy Doctor, get your facts straight. Seems like you were watching a different race from everyon else. 1. The gap wasn't 7 seconds, as you claim. Kimi had slashed it down by posting a string of fastest laps. 2. Hamilton said, (and I QUOTE) "...it wasn't the best pitstop." His stop took longer because they screwed it up, not because they took more fuel on. Unless you were part of the pitcrew and you know something everyone on this board doesn't, I suggest you get your facts straight before posting.
